“This is one of my favourite cafes in Shirley. The staff are always so friendly and the food and drinks are really good value. (And the chocolate brownies are the best!)”

“This is just over the road from work so I have eaten here several times. The staff have always been friendly, the food tasty and priced fairly. The Big Daddy breakfast lives up to its name without feeling like an actual ordeal. Less gluttonous meals and sandwiches are also available. Overall it's recommended by me and definitely better than the Cranmore Cafe around the corner (which isn't awful, just not as good as here).”

“I havent been to a Tesco cafe in ages so great to see how its modernised. Theres modern decor and a relaxed environment. Great for families and space for accessible seating. I love their new menu lots of veggie options and optional extras like hasbrowns. The service was great we were served by Stella who was warm and welcoming. Food came quickly and a good portion size.”

“I went into Asda Shirley today looking for a packet of onion sauce, I had tried other shops previously but could not get it. I asked a man that was stacking the shelves, he told me that a lady had also asked for this last week, buy they did not seem to stock it. I carried on with my shopping, then the same man that I asked came up to me with a box of onion sauce, he had checked the boxes on the top shelf and this box was behind another box! I praised him for his excellent customer service!, he told me his name was Channy, not many people go out of their way like this anymore, so I just wanted to praise him for this .”

“Utterly brilliant, beautiful and wonderful place! Food was beyond great. I had the pancakes which came with so much bacon and Maple syrup. My fiance had a bacon and sausage sandwich with such thick bacon, fresh soft bread! Staff and even other customers are friendly, quick service and very good pricing! Shame we don't live closer so we could go regularly. But will definitely be in again and recommending to others Thanks for a lovely lunch :)”

“I cannot recommend Amanda and Mad Moo's enough. The service received was brilliant from start to finish. Amanda was so friendly and welcoming and was fantastic with my daughter. I am over the moon with my clock and Christmas bauble; both perfect, great quality, beautiful peices. Prices are very fair for the quality of product produced. Will 100% be having more keepsakes made in the future, I wouldn't consider looking anywhere else! Thank you Amanda for such beautiful keepsakes x”

“Had a lovely long awaited catch up with friends today we all agree that Desco has a lovely friendly and comfortable atmosphere. I had the tapas board and it was lovely the patatas bravos especially good. Staff were very friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble which is a 10/10.”

“Edit: We have returned to Java Lounge Blythe Valley park today and I must say we have thoroughly enjoyed our visit. My coffee was beautifully made and delicious and the children loved their milkshakes. The bearded cheerful chap that made the drinks was attentive and we felt well looked after. We will be returning in future. Thank you. Original review: We have driven past it so many times on our way to and back from VA, so anticipation was building up. We finally stopped off for the first time at Blythe Valley Java Lounge to have a drink on 24/11/18 at around 4pm. First impression was great - decor is lovely, it was clean and welcoming. My children have chosen 2 milkshakes and I went for caramel nutty latte ( or something along those lines, can’t remember exact name). Kids loved their shakes, but my latte was sickening sweet, there must have been a third of a cup or more syrup there. I could not drink it. I raised the issue at the till with a person who made the drink but he said that’s just how it is, it’s caramel after all. I have had caramel lattes from most other established coffee chains including one that is a fast food and never had to leave the drink barely touched. To sum it up, even though my children loved their drinks, we will not be returning as I left very disappointed.”

“Amazing service this morning by a young Asian lady (described as didn't catch her name). Good coffee and place to sit and watch the world go by, read a book, complete some work or sit and have a chat amongst friends.”

“So this Costa is a pretty good Costa. It's by a main road, but that's to the plants/ layoit the road is shielded from view. The outdoor area is nice and the seating inside is ok. Only small problem is the entrance to the car park is a pain in the bum, it's only really wide enough for one modern car to drive through.”

“I celebrated my 60th birthday here on 9th July together with my large family. We had 'the best time' The staff were exemplary and nothing was too much for them to make this occasion a special and memorable one for us. We all said that we felt as if we were on holiday somewhere in Africa. Great atmosphere both inside and out. Super place to enjoy a few hours and of course with great food and drinks!! Thank you so much to all the Akamba staff!!”

“Took my Dad today and had such lovely service. The girls were so busy and despite this were so happy and helpful. It was a girl with tattoos in particular and I also saw her come away from the counter to help an elderly couple choose a sandwich from the fridge which I thought was so lovely”
