“A great taxi company with great drivers. We pre booked them a lot over Christmas and new year and the driver (unfortunately can’t remember his name) was exceptional and very reasonably priced. “I was so scared and worried before committing to this salon, as I haven’t been to a salon in around 10 years (I have a hairdresser sister) but I’ve never felt more welcome. From the get go all communications were always quick, reliable and friendly. I managed to get an appointment with Leanne after a cancellation. We organised a quick patch test and consultation where we spoke about what I wanted, followed by a patch test behind my ear and a quote for how much it would all cost. This literally only took about 10 minutes. I felt so welcomed as soon as i entered the doors. On the day of my hair, we revisited our conversation at the patch test making sure there was no miscommunication about what I wanted. Leanne was so friendly, constantly asking if I was comfortable and needed anything. I’m so pleased with the final results and would highly recommend this salon. “My 14 year old son decided he needed to do something with his hair I didn't understand. "A perm" he said. So he found New ID via a Google search. I took him after he booked an appointment. I am a standard blokey barber shop guy who just has a basic haircut from time to time so walking in felt a little awkward. A brown man with a brown child into a shop full of women staff and women customers, not brown. However, we were greeted with a "hello, take a seat" and it was totally comfortable after that. I left my son with I believe Heather who expertly did the perm, looked after him and he told me she had a chat with him and was really nice, just like everyone else. Good people.
