“Initially purchased some upgraded front speakers and a COB led with Bluetooth controller for my VW T5 but due to issues with stock meant the order could not be processed. I got in touch with Peter who advised he could amend it to a phoenix gold set up and I opted to update it to include the rear speakers as well. I can not fault the service at all, all parts are now installed and the difference in sound is amazing. “My husband and I love this shop. The system of browsing through the catalogues works as well, as it did when Argos had the same system, but a lot better. The staff are always helpful and courteous and it's a wonderful bonus to have a car park nearby too. What we particularly love about Screwfix is that unlike B&Q, the staff are readily at hand and are pleasant. They are knowledgeable about their products and always willing to go the extra mile. The times we have to visit B&Q, fills us with dread because we know we are likely to not be able to find the correct aisle, or the right person to direct us to the right place. Of course B&Q sell a larger variety of products, but Screwfix's product range is also quite extensive and serves our needs. If like us, you are fed up with the poor service at B&Q and are not after gardening products, then you may be pleasantly surprised that Screwfix is a handy alternative, if not a fantastic one. But please don't take our parking space.”

“I'd like to thank this gentleman for his honesty. My phone totally stopped working. I thought it might need battery replacing. Initially I went to a shop in town and they made me believe they were going to install an original Samsung battery from Samsung etc. I then went to A1 computers and he told me that only Samsung change the original batteries themselves apart from this they are just non branded. I left the phone for him to change battery for me . When I rang to find out he told me it was not a battery issue and that it is irreparable. He did not charge me anything despite me insisting. Thank you for your honesty and integrity. I would definitely use this shop in future if need be. I highly recommend him because of my positive experience”

“It took 38 mins to turn a bad experience into a great one. I bought a front and rear dashcam and got Halfords to fit it. However i was not happy on my return to the vehicle to find rain water down the inside of the drivers door and the rear passenger seat. Both the cameras were badly aligned and there appeared to be excess cable showing. When i returned home i contacted Halfords customer services. A couple of days later i recieved a call from the manager, who apologised profusely. He asked if i would revisit so he could sort it out. What a difference one person can make between a bad and great experience. The original fitter seemed to have no time for me, would not explain the system or show me the work.I now understand why! The manager Tom, who refitted the cameras, fully explained their opperation and whose incitefull knowlage made me more confident about its usage as well as the capabilities of the system is an asset to your company. Well done.”
