We had an extremely difficult time trying to fulfil my requirements but he never faltered in his pursuit of my goals. “I'd just like to say thankyou to Abbie for going the extra mile to help me this morning. I set off from east hull and my wiper blades snapped off due to the cold and snow... managed to make it to halfords although i could barely see anything in the conditions at 8.05am. The store was closed and not due to open until 9am. Abbie saw me at the front doors and came to enquire what was wrong and after explaining the issue and pleading with her she went and got me the wiper blades I needed to carry on my journey to Wakefield.”

“Felt compelled to write a review after seeing the negative ones. Obviously can't comment on their experiences so I have to rate based on my own experience. I bought quite a bit of gear from them, amps, wiring and sub. The sub was going to take longer than estimated date to get to me than quoted from the preorder estimate. The seller got in contact with me via email promptly and offered me a full refund no questions asked or if I wouldn't mind waiting a bit longer. I decided to wait as I was in no rush and the item was received and due to the wait was offered a discount off of my next purchase, which they followed through with a considerable discount. Customer service was great in my experience and kept me in the know. Been a pleased customer with great products and the bass still turns heads at car shows from a single 15! Thanks guys will deffo be purchasing again in the future!”

“I wanted to buy my first small amp for my first electric uke and after looking at their comprehensive website I had a question, so sent a chat message and immediately got a very friendly voice calling me belonging to a man named Shaun. He asked me a few more details and was sure they would be able to sort me out. He was right, when I arrived I asked for him, he remembered my name and what I was coming to look at. I got just what I was after. All the staff were friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable. Well worth the 40 mins drive each way and definitely not my last visit to the shop!”

“Kingston Car Sound have done a fantastic job installing a Sony mini disc unit in my 1989 eunos, replacing the large modern cheap horrible touch screen unit that a previous owner had put in. They managed to sort out some dodgy wiring in the car. It is such a neat job that it looks factory correct. This is the third car of mine that Kingston car sound has installed a sound system. I would not go anywhere else with my cars. Highly recommended.”

“Called at Screwfix, Brigg to collect a radiator valve, as none of the Hull branches had the one in I wanted. For years, my Screwfix account has had the wrong name on it, as it was erroneously set up in the name of the first person I had purchased a radiator for, to do a job. I have been told previously that I would have to download the Screwfix app, to change the name on the account myself. Well I just have to mention and commend Zoe at Screwfix, Brigg. What a breath of fresh air she was. She said she could change the name on my account, and it took her about 5 minutes. She was really friendly and helpful, what excellent customer service. Thank you Zoe :).”
