“Had a nice visit to this franchise today to grab a quick coffee while waiting for a train. Served by a nice guy who was fast and really polite to everyone. It’s a good branch to have as the Runaway coffee place past the ticket barriers don’t take cards.”

“It's a Starbucks, what else to say....! What I would say is that the size of a small coffee to have in is Huge!! The large must be a bucket!! **.. I NEED TO EDIT THIS!.. I was recently refused service by one individual at this establishment as he thought I was drunk. Not his fault but probably just lack of training. I suffer from anaemia, low HB, COPD & internal gastronomy issues. The medication I take can make me drowsy and on occasion present as appearing intoxicated. I DID collapse once whilst in the establishment and needed an ambulance which took me to A&E for emergency blood transfusions. This is something I live with and often attend RSCH for blood transfusions & Iron infusions. I guess all I would say is that it's not his fault; but perhaps some more training from Starbucks for their staff, on interpersonal relationships between customers and employees? Perhaps regarding looking for signs & behaviors of customers, and how to differentiate between different types of presentation & behaviour?...be it a clinical issue and/or a socially disruptive one. To be clear; he wasn't rude to me but merely acting on how I presented, and working within whatever Health & Safety training had been made available to him. No hard feelings or resentment; in fact I would like to come back...perhaps with one of my primary careers next time ?? (they'll buy more coffees!). Regards, Justin Colman. He was polite & respectful when I confronted him.... There are ways to settle these things but unfortunately he chose to hide behind a woman, whose presence was his defence and I presume his superior. That's a dick-move and he obviously knew it... She was polite and respectful as per her position requires. In fact I liked them both really!... but perhaps he would be better suited in a position that required less interpersonal skills... Gonna give you your 5 star rating back (even though I'm "banned"...haha) Reason being that, as a whole, I can't condemn the cafe as it is... it's just one bad apple that needs removal... PS: I LOVE those caramel-latte things you serve with cream and all that jazz...”

“Convieniently located Starbucks across the road from Churchill Square. This one can get very busy, there was very few seats on the ground floor, but the upstairs has additional seating which (at the time) was very quiet, with only a few people in it. The tables were clean and each one has plug sockets and USBs which was nice. Staff are friendly. The toilets are located upstairs and didn't have a code, which were clean. Very positive experience :)”

“I’m yet to try one of the cinnamon buns (they look great) but I know I love the coffee and the relaxing space to work or just watch the world go by which is kept immaculately clean. The new guy working there also has really positive energy and the other staff I’ve spoken to are also lovely!”

“We had a very warm welcome and excellent service from very friendly and attentive staff. The cafe is a nice environment to be in and has had a fairly recent rearrangement inside - now with more seating. Now the important bit. Food and drink. Everything we had was great and made with care. Lovely coffees (we tried each of the different coffees, the Brazilian, and the Mexican blends. My wife, an Aussie, enjoyed her 'aussie' long black. I enjoyed the fruitier Mexican blend. I had the black forest pancakes and my wife had the mushrooms on toast. Both were served looking fab, and made with quality ingredients, and good portion sizes. All in all, a place I've been to in the past for single coffees turned out to be a really good shout for a proper breakfast. Made an Aussie feel like "home from home coffee shop with brunch". Highly recommended.”

“A quick stay in Brighton meant a google search for somewhere to get breakfast. Lucky for us we came across CoffeetZar. What a wonderful friendly welcome, lovely bright fresh decor ,exceptional coffee & loads of delicious looking food choices. I had the Greek yoghurt with granola ,sour cherries & honey. And oh my!. My husband had a more traditional choice. Both delicious and good value. Couldn’t resist a couple of homemade treats for the long drive home either.”

“Have just returned from enjoying the tastiest breakfast here! We were looking for somewhere do friendly for myself, my parents and my brother and his partner to meet and catch up but we were hoping to bring our 10 month old German Shepherd pup too. They couldn't have been more chilled and accommodating if they tried. Firstly, the staff were so lovely and friendly, super chilled with Bella, bringing her a bowl of water when we arrived and so kind when she wasn't totally aware how much space her puppy butt was taking up. The food was amazing, the smoothies tasted great and when we ordered a sausage for the pup, it was provided in a cute lil cup of her own and helped keep laying down and learning to be calm in public places. I ordered the chorizo eggs (Photo) and I would wholeheartedly recommend. We will absolutely be returning in the near future!”

“Gorgeous aesthetics, calm yet upbeat funky atmosphere and most importantly great food with something catered for everyone Safe to say a new favourite place pricey but worth it definitely springs to mind perfect place for a date or a special occasion, booked up quickly and friendly staff. Nothing bad to say about it as it was very nice I was even recommend a better option from gentleman serving which I enjoyed a lot, even people cooking smiling and enjoying their jobs really nice atmosphere and a very enjoyable experience overall will return another evening, I even had my child and asked to use the restroom outside the front of the premises which they allowed at the time but when entering smelt the food and needed to sit down and try it and so glad I did. I'd been missing out on this little gem! Worth a visit! thank you.”

“We love Ground, it's our favourite local coffee shop! The new location is great and the fact that they now do brunch is brilliant, we tried it for the first time today and the ultimate bacon butty is possibly the best bacon butty I've ever had. Coffee from Pharmacie Coffee Roasters is delicious and well prepared, and the staff here are always friendly. There aren't many places you can get coffee and brunch for £10. Just a lovely atmosphere, nice music and chilled vibes, a great coffee shop.”
