“We walked into the Riverside, a place with lots of shops and eating places init and we chanced upon Bubble and Bao. We went for the pork buns, chicken tonkatsu, chicken teriyaki Bao bun and what looked like Salmon sushi roll. Oooommmmgggg. So good, pork broth was tasty but could have done with a bit more depth but after seasoning up with some chilli crunch and Soy sauce and ginger it was delicious and with the kombu it was really an interesting flavour. The rest was just amazing. Sushi is prepared after you order it and I'm pretty sure the pork buns were made out of delicious Clouds. I'm so going to try and get back there for the grilled Eel and anything else I can next week.”

“I was greeted by a familiar, cozy environment and friendly staff. My order was the #2 Tokyo Tonkotsu, a serving of edamame, and the melon ramune. The rich, savoury black garlic oil blended perfectly with the hearty broth and created a homely bowl topped only by Japan itself. Overall 5 stars, would come again.”

“Although we didn’t have sushi, this place is a gem and a delight, it was recommended by a friend at work and I can say it’s highly recommended by me. I had udon noodles and pork with prawn rolls. Service was five star with friendly and knowledgeable staff it’s a warm and inviting atmosphere and just on the right side of cozy. I drove all the way from Croydon although I was generally in the area but would drive back there for more of the delicious udon noodles and to try some of the super looking sushi. Book up if you can the service was quick and with a smile always makes things better.”

“All-round delicious and joyful Indian meal with a great deal of creativity and wonderful service. Only one of our party of 4 was vegetarian with rest of us occasional meat eaters but the food was so good that we were all very satisfied with the delicious fare. The service was quick and friendly and the the range of beers and other drinks was also fully appreciated. A memorable meal, we'll be back!”

“Really Happy Me/aki. This wholesome place is one of the reason I come back to Brighton every year in May (The Great Escape Festival being the main reason;). Their sushi burritos are delicious (my current fav is the Sweet Chili Chick £7.80). The concept of the restaurant (non-profit) and costs transparency are great too. It probably would be my favourite take-away on earth if they ingredients were local, seasonal and organic products (but I’m well aware that’s currently pretty hard to set up).”

“A hidden gem! I first visited Noodles Soup many years ago and instantly fell in love with the delicious food and humble eating experience. So reasonably priced and lots of choice, image is of the pork which was super yummy (the beef noodle soup though is a staple ofc). 100% recommend”

“Amazing family run Italian restaurant!! My boyfriend and I happened to stumble across this restaurant this evening and we were extremely impressed- from the service, to the atmosphere, to the food it was 5* all the way through. We were both made very comfortable upon arrival and noticed that our lovely waiter made extra effort to make note of our names and to make sure we were all okay throughout our meal, something I have not received at a bigger restaurant chain. It really did feel like we were treated like we were members of this family! As for the service, it was very quick and the presentation of the food at mamma Mia’s is PHENOMENAL! I had a beautiful sea food risotto which I will whole heartedly say was the BEST risotto I’ve ever had. From the flavourful sauce to the fresh mussels it was perfect! My boyfriend also enjoyed his chicken pizza and commented that he has never experienced a pizza like the one at mamma Mia’s. I had the panna cotta for dessert and the food just keeps on getting better, it was so creamy and the sauce tasted amazing! I highly recommend mamma mia’s if you want an authentic, cozy and welcoming Italian restaurant. We will definitely be returning and I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu!! “Went to Thai Time @ Arundel Tuesday late afternoon for a quick bite. What a great place it is! Had soft shell crab which was cooked just right, succulent crab meat inside and crunchy crispy batter outside! Had Tom Ka soup which was well seasoned with a pack of flavours ! Amazing jungle curry and chicken cashed stir fry! Cannot fault it at all! We will be back for sure!”

“Oh my word - we popped in last night before the cinema for a bite to eat and wow wow wow. It was so delicious! We shared mushroom and truffle arancini balls which were so so tasty, as well as Sicilian hot dogs and cheesy chips. We also had a sweet treat each after - I hade a pistachio sfogliatelle and my hubby had a white chocolate puff and the whole lot was just absolutely delicious! We will be gong back asap! It was also lovely to sit just outside in the beautiful evening sunshine!”

“Three of us had lunch here last Thursday. This is a local Italian restaurant that is far superior to most Italian restaurants. The food was cooked in front of us with fresh ingredients. “Amazing experience at Yummy Pizza Polegate! I collected a 24" Margherita pizza and it was such a fun and unique treat - I had never seen a pizza this big before! The crust was fluffy and crispy and every bite was full of flavour. The cheese was perfect making the whole pizza incredibly delicious! Even the next morning it still tasted great, even cold! The staff was also very pleasant! Big thanks for this yummy pizza! :) Highly recommend!”

“Very good Japanese tapas restaurant in Brighton Preston Street. This is a good quality restaurant located in the heart ot Brighton's food district. Well spaced tables for Covid19 and order by forms minimum contact. Great cocktails too and the service I received was excellent. Great menu with lots of choices and nice decor.”

“It doesn't look very promising from the outside but I was persuaded by the good reviews to give this place a try. Excellent fish and chips - I ordered huss, which was meaty and full of flavour, as it should be. Huge portion of crispy chips. I saw a sushi order being collected and that looked excellent too. A great local, family run place which I plan to return to. One warning - they don't take cards, so you either have to pay cash or arrange a bank transfer which is a bit of a hassle. .”
