“Great little shop with friendly staff. They don't try to oversell you and they have a nice range of kit for both beginners and more experienced vapers. Prices aren't inflated and are on par with Amazon, so it's one of the few physical stores where looking at actual products (rather than a website product page) makes sense. Having bought and renewed all of my kit from Amazon in the past I've been converted in one visit, so I will make an effort to support this local store in future. A+”
“I've been visiting this place for years since they were 1 shop in norfolk square. Its very rare to come across a shop like this. Its not just a vape shop, its a friendly hang. Their knowledge of vape products is second to none, and they are happy to teach you anything you need to know about various vape products. Chris and Devon are the best people you'll talk to regarding anything vaping in Brighton, and the rest of the lads are great as well. -Devon once spent an hour teaching me how to change RTA coils and wick them -Whenever I have a locked tank, they will somehow get it off -They provide a cotton/coil changing service, including cleaning the tank (Even though they jokingly complain whenever its requested) -Their prices are very good compared to other shops -Chris is an inventor and has his own line of juices and merch, you have to try the juices!”
“You've got a love Roy's, from the staff that ignore you why you walk around, To the odd array of food that they still stocking since covid.”
“Absolute best convenience shop around, really lovely man”
“The staff in this shop are so helpful and every one of them polite and friendly. It is a pleasure to pop in and pick up bits. Always a clean and very tidy shop.”
“The store has excellent service, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. Thank you for making every visit enjoyable!”
“Was given great advice about which power tools to buy based on my needs from Miles at this branch. Great service and products at a competitive price.”
“Great shop has everything you need. Very helpful staff it is an absolute asset to the community.”
“We choose this Screwfix branch because the staff are really knowledgeable and helpful. In particular Johny, Duty Manager, who is exceptional. He is always prepared to go the extra mile to find solutions and make us feel valued as customers. It is because of him that we choose to return to the Kemptown branch.”
“Loved the Dulce leche with coco only place I could find it. Has a great variety of products.”
“Kieren was super helpful. Talked me through options based on my likes / dislikes, and recommended options with longer battery life.”
“Kind, helpful, thoughtful, knowledgable people :-) Fantastic range of goods. And some different brands at affordable prices too! They do not not pressure to buy. Whenever I am travelling Worthing way I go to Ceres. Sometimes, it is the only place I know where I can buy items that are just not available in Bognor, and if they don' thave them, they look into the possibility of getting in for me. Shop Local, keep local businesses alive, you never know when you will need them, and this shop is more than worth shopping at!”
“Shaktis is the corner stone of corner stores, they keep a good stock of a wide selection of convenience needs, tampons got ya covered, cough medicine got you covered. Staff are great really good customer service happy to help guide you find what you're after and are happy to talk to the boss about getting stuff in if it's something you'd like. Great with the kids friendly and funny approach but never too much. Samosas are great especially if you're on route to work. Keep it up Shakti's!”
“I can’t recommend Quaff and their staff enough. We’re fortunate to live very close to Quaff, and visit it at least once a week, so we’ve got to know the team there very well. They’re always helpful, polite and have been really welcoming during the pandemic, particularly bearing in mind how busy they were when the pubs were closed. We often go in undecided as to exactly what we want to drink, and are always happy with the suggestions that are made to us. I genuinely can’t think of a wine or beer that we’ve drunk from there that we haven’t enjoyed. Thank you for everything guys, see you soon!”
“Excellent service and great staff”
“A lovely covered market with some wonderful local traders, cafes, grocers and unique stalls. There's always a lovely breeze floating through the market, which makes the browsing experience all the more pleasant. The regular Maker's Market and Vegan Market are definitely worth visiting, and you'll find local products and produce that are truly delightful and very rare. Plenty to enjoy here.”
“Great choice and person serving very friendly. Felt nicer to support local than a big supermarket!”
“Goodness organic is a standout gem among Brighton’s grocery options, offering a vibrant and diverse selection of products from around the world. The store’s shelves are stocked with high-quality goods year-round, from exotic spices to specialty ingredients, catering to a wide range of culinary needs. While prices are noticeably higher than larger supermarkets, the exceptional quality of the products justifies the cost, making it a worthwhile investment for discerning shoppers. One of the store’s highlights is its welcoming, community-oriented atmosphere. The in-house bakery and café area provide a delightful spot to enjoy freshly baked goods and a cup of their remarkable Turkish coffee—a must-try for visitors. The emphasis on natural storage for fresh fruits and vegetables is a refreshing touch, ensuring produce retains its flavor and freshness without the artificial chill of industrial freezers. The store’s environment could benefit from minor improvements, such as better organization or aesthetic updates, to match the quality of its offerings. However, this does little to detract from the overall experience. Goodness organic delivers a great shopping experience, blending quality, variety, and community charm. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a more personalized grocery outing in Brighton.”
“Nice people work in the shop they are very friendly. They are good people”
“the young man at the check out was very friendly, asking if I found everything I was looking for.”
“Great shop in the middle of brighton and hove. Deceptively large and has everything one could want. The staff in here are friendly and knowledgeable and there are more tills here than you can poke a stick at. The self service ones at least, but noone really wants manned tills anyway, too much conversation for my liking. Anyway I digress, great shop and good selection of flowers also”
“Great local store, has all the things you need it to and a Post office in there too. All the staff including the manager are so lovely and friendly.”
“It's hard to know how to review a place like this. We all know what a convenience store is, and if that's what you want then it'll be the right place to go.”
“I regularly use their parcel services and they are always very friendly and helpful- would recommend!”
“There is now a new owner of the shop. He is very nice and friendly, (a welcome change from the previous older gentleman). He now has the Pay point up and running, along with the Payzone machine. He is still waiting for the Post Office service to be set up, but that should be soon. He also has the Evri service running. He is also asking if customers can give him some feedback on products they would like to see in the shop. If you have stopped coming to this shop because of the previous owner and service, I would highly recommended a return visit, so you can see the difference for yourself.”
“My housemates and I love Blake’s, and go almost daily. Super lovely staff, quick service, nice fresh bread and produce options. We drink about a flat of iced coffees and week- and they always keep it replenished for us!”
“Great family run store that has been going for more than 25 years! Always friendly and a good range of products.”
“I've known the family for a number of years and have always received good service in the shop. I rarely use the postal side but I do know that had they not taken it on, the village would have been without A Royal Mail service for the past few years.”
“100 percent ! I live here, been here 25 years.”
“Nice local store open to 10 pm good selection to choose from ‼️ 5 Star Review ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
