“A great little Bar-Restaurant located not far from the River Adur. It has a decent variety of local beers, ales, and gins. There was a reasonable amount of indoor and outdoor seating for its size. With outdoor seating, it leaves you in a great atmosphere, especially when the sun is shining and the nice cool breeze from the river hits you. The food I had was very tasty and freshly cooked. There's a good mixture of choices of options on the menu depending on your preferences. All of the staff were very friendly and efficient. The number of toilet facilities was fairly limited for both male and females. Overall, everything was fairly priced. I had a pleasant experience on this visit, so I would definitely like to visit again.”
“As I entered drift this morning with a friend the place was buzzing and very busy. It's so obvious why... the service was amazing and the food was to die for. We both had poached eggs on sour dough/multi grain toast with crispy bacon and vine tomatoes. The best breakfast I've had for a very long time. Very well presented and served. I will definitely revisit. Thankyou”
“I luckily found this place by pure chance and it was top notch food. Very generous portions and the wide variety of vegetables in the Dansak. Only let down was I like medium spicy like Jalfrezi and they were very mild. But very impressed not oily at all. I will definitely be ordering again.”
“My partner and i had showmain, egg rice and sweet and sour chicken balls and my daughter had sausage and chips and it was cooked to perfection and was absolutely delicious.”
“An absolute gem - tucked away Cafe 8 is a lovely spot for breakfast, coffee and cake. Mandy (previously Hove RFC) offers her trademark fantastic coffee & delicious breakfasts served with the loveliest welcome. Great view of the runway, cute planting - my new favourite in Shoreham”
“I had a burger and chips. The burger with beef patty, cheese and fresh vegetables was really juicy. And the staff were very friendly and welcoming.”
“Great micro pub run by a lovely couple. Nicely curated gravity driven cask beer, although there is a 2 line keg as well (one lager and one keg ale). Plus, there are plenty ciders, which personally I hate but they have plenty and my friends were very happy with their choices.”
“We had a great experience in Into the Blue. You can tell all the ingredients are fresh, nothing frozen and they offer a wide array of seafood/fish for every pallet. The only thing was it was so popular that they ran out of food half way through the day! So we’d recommend getting in early on weekends. Would absolutely return.”
“The coffee and croissant were exceptionally delightful. I must say, it was one of the best coffees I've ever had. The atmosphere and breakfast were also truly enjoyable.”
“Loved their Buddha bowls very generous amount even on the small ones. They do plant based milks which is great sadly today was the last day in the area so probably won't be back for a while. Brilliant staff always some good tunes on and spotless clean”
“Super good fish & chips. Stopped here on a (long) bike ride. Really fresh and delicious food, cooked to order. Friendly service. Highly recommended.”
“I went out with my family and had an amazing time. It was quiet, hygienic and very tasty fish & chips. Even the chocolate fudge cake desert is very tasty. Staff is very friendly and courteous….owners have done amazing at managing the restaurant….keep up the good work”
“Lovely staff and owner, great layout. Proper old boozer but not awkward like some are nowadays (as a young person!) Fireplace, dogs, good Guinness, what else could you ask for.”
“Friendly staff, great selection of drinks, delicious grazing boards and amazing live music on a Saturday afternoon. I'm looking forward to sampling their evening full menu soon.”
“The Rose Petal Cake Company were brilliant. Becky was amazing and lovely in designing our wedding cake , she’s so talented. Our cake looked beautiful, the cake tasted amazing! We will definitely be using Becky for future birthday cakes.”

“The wife and I had the veggie breakfast. They were cooked to perfection. I was impressed by the veggie sausages. Very nice. The service was also excellent. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely go back”
“I hadn't been to the Swiss Cottage in years and was pleasantly surprised. It has a large car park which was a great bonus for me. The food was very good, hot and cooked to order. There were a lot of choices and many special offers. They also had so many gluten free options. My friend said her meal was good and tasty. The staff were very attentive and there was a lovely warm atmosphere about the place. I will definitely be returning especially for the Fizz Fridays offers”
“Without a doubt the best Chinese takeaway I’ve had, worth the wait while it’s freshly cooked & so much food for the price. Please don’t be put off by the window display.. I’ve never been disappointed by the abundance of food.”
“I recently visited The Crabtree in Shoreham-by-Sea for a pint, and it was a pleasant experience. The pub has a welcoming, traditional feel with a friendly atmosphere. The staff were attentive and made sure I felt comfortable. I enjoyed a pint of their local ale, which was perfectly chilled and flavorful. The ambiance was relaxed, with a mix of locals and visitors enjoying the cozy setting. Whether you’re inside or in the garden, it’s a great spot to unwind. Overall, having a pint at The Crabtree was a delightful experience, and I look forward to my next visit!”

“this is now a chinese takeaway, its called yellow river now. excellent food and reasonable time to bring the food.very pretty girl serving and friendly..only down side is payment is cash only,no plastic... but not realy an issue...i will be going back again :)”
“I was genuinely blown away by the quality of food in the Cafe. I had a Red Velvet Muffin and their Sausage, Bacon, and Egg sandwich. I added their own M&S ketchup to the sandwich. All of which was absolutely delicious and only cost me £12 with an iced caramel latte. My partner is celiac and got the Bacon Roll and an Iced Matcha. She really enjoyed her meal too. Seriously impressed, not just your usual supermarket Cafe.”
