Its clear that she loves what she does and not just that, is fabulous at it too. You can really tell that she loves each dog she cares for. We wouldn't take our dog anywhere else. Also her bow ties are utterly adorable. We have to buy one for our dog every time we go in!”

“*LONG REVIEW BUT WORTH THE READ* I found Janine on a random Google just over a year ago and I’ve seen her every single month since then. Due to personal circumstances at the time, I hadn’t left the house or interacted with anybody in a long time. I told Janine ahead of time that I might appear rude by not talking or making eye-contact due to my social anxiety, and she immediately put my mind at ease. Upon arriving for my first appointment, Janine couldn’t have been more welcoming with her gentle approach. I was initially tearful and embarrassed - taking your clothes off in front of a stranger can be scary! But she has a natural ability to make anyone feel safe and comfortable. I had opted for a top to toe wax and so was inevitably there for a while. By the end of my appointment I felt like I’d simply spent time catching up with an old friend. Janine has played a major role in the improvement of my body confidence. Now, one year later, she has to remind me to wait for the blinds to close before whipping off my clothes! A far cry from the tearful girl too embarrassed to take off her socks. In terms of her actual work; what a blimin’ revelation! I haven’t used in a razor in over 12 months and if I have to wait a bit longer between appointments, my hair growth is very fine and almost unnoticeable. I recommend Janine to anyone and everyone. She’s not only the most amazing person but she’s incredible at what she does.”

I've been to 4 or 5 other groomers over my dogs 10 years, all had something we weren't overly happy with - leaving him fuzzy, not getting out mud, or at worst razor burn/ cutting him. Not here, the staff at Mucky mutz do a great job with him and seem to really care about the dogs. He goes in wagging his tail and comes out just as happy - just looking a lot cleaner and tidier. Highly recommended”

“Since Scampi's adult coat came in and winter was upon us, it became more and more difficult to groom and he got more matts than we could cope with. I explained to Maxine how we were loathe to lose the length but understood that perhaps now we'd have to start from scratch. She was very understanding and although she had to clip him quite short, she managed to keep the length on his head, ears and tail and he looks great, He obviously feels a lot better too and is running around like a loon. She also gave good advice about avoiding matts as his coat grows longer. All in all, an excellent first experience when I've heard so many horror stories about groomers from other people.”
