“I attended a gig last week but had recently suffered an achilles rupture, sl attending shows has been very difficult. The staff at The Arch were not only incredibly accommodating but ensured I never felt like a liability and helped me get from the queue to a seat with a great view so easily. If you are disabled and attending a show here, let the staff know and they will help out. Thanks again for making the night so great!”

“Flawless service, start to finish, which absolutely made our event. Friendly, responsive, informative quoting and consultation to start with. On the day, Alan arrived with time to spare to check out the venue, get set up and ensure everything was ready. We didn’t go for a set playlist, more of a list of songs to include – Alan covered everything, while adding in a great selection of additional music. He read the room perfectly and the dancefloor was never empty all night while also accommodating any announcements or speeches that needed to be made. All set up and clear up was completely taken care of – in all the stress of running an event it was one thing we didn’t have to worry about at all. Everyone raved about it and it really did make the event the success that it was – can’t thank them enough; worth every penny.”

“I dont often write reviews but doing this for the benefit of anyone who may be in my position and trying to find something suitable and a laugh for a hen do, as that was me a few months ago when I booked Showlesque! I know there are some mixed reviews on Google and Trip advisor, but I hope this may help sway someone's decision in deciding whether or not to go...we went as a hen do on 30th August, and I was worried about what to expect because of a recent review only giving 3 stars. The food came quickly and was actually very tasty...chips were great. The staff were friendly, particularly the young lady with bobbed wavy blonde hair (sorry I've forgotten your name!). Service was good. Veronica Blacklace absolutely made the night as the MC and singer, she had a fab voice, very funny and knew how to read a room perfectly. Big Hairy Growler...so funny, and his strip tease was so bad it was good lol. We had such a laugh, the energy was great. The venue is small and intimate, but this didnt mean the atmosphere was any less. When the show finished, there was a DJ playing classic tunes, the place wasn't busy but to be honest we just enjoyed having the dance floor to ourselves. My one criticism would be that maybe there could have been a couple more alternative acts within the show, as each person came on twice (there were three performers in total, plus the MC). Very entertaining, we laughed all night and the hen had the best time. Would definitely recommend! One thing to note, if you are a large group make sure to ask to be seated on one table...we were a group of 9 but split into two booths, we could still see and talk to each other but we would have preferred to have been sat together.”

“Eddie absolutely smashed it at our little Brighton wedding. People haven’t stopped talking about how good the music was and he somehow made the whole night feel perfectly “us”. The dancefloor was never empty, we were buzzing from start to finish, and even his pre-wedding questionnaire had us laughing out loud. Fully recommend booking him, hes great craic!”

“Wonderful, charming and intimate venue. Approx 300 seats mostly raked where everyone has a great view of the stage and the performers. On this occasion it was an evening with John Illsley, formerly of Dire Straits. Wonderful stories as well as a live band performing songs from every Dire Straits album.”

There is a wonderfully eclectic mix of DJ nights on throughout the month in the bar, fresh live music upstairs, decor like no other (see photos), award winning vegan kitchen and friendly staff. Couldn't want for anything else from a local pub. A total gem in the heart of Brighton!”

“Popped in here for dinner with friends the other night. Service was excellent, drink selection good & the food...was just awesome. We shared 2 of the platters between 4 & it was more than enough, the garlic sausage & brisket were standouts, but everything was just excellent. Oh & the dry rub chicken wings are 100% brilliant. Cannot fault, would go again in a heartbeat”

“We visited for a hen do on the weekend. I had been messaging directly with the venue a few weeks before. Very helpful and responsive. Went to see the act Cherrybomb, who was brilliant. There was 16 of us in our group of all ages and everyone loved the show. They had reserved appropriate amount of space for our group. All up dancing and having a laugh. The entire team at Affinity were so nice and accommodating. Would recommend in a heart beat. My 76 year old mum loved it that much, she asked if we can go again and we pretty much had to drag her out at the end of the night for our ride home :-) bless her. Thanks again for the evening xx”
