I’ve been to a lot of parties in my time and honestly these guys were the best. My very young and sprightly dads 90th birthday was the event and these guys catered for his music tastes and ours and the youngsters with a perfect blend and the communication was fantastic!! “To say that Mitch was only our wedding DJ really wouldn’t do him justice. He was so much more than that. Guru, advisor, counsellor and life coach. I even found out he was doing some yoga and breathing exercises with my best man before the ceremony to keep him calm. Mitch was superb in helping us plan the music for our day. We wanted him to run all the music for our arrival, departure and even “work the room” in anticipation for our grand arrival for dinner. Mitch knows how to throw a party! He spoke to us extensively about the type of party we wanted and the type of music we wanted. When it came to party time we had run a little over and he promptly jeed up our crowd by saying “we have two hours to party with the two special people let’s make it happen” the dance floor was full. He totally read the room and gauged what we and our guests wanted to dance to. We said from the offset we wanted the wedding to end leaving people wanting more and we certainly got that. We have a lot of love for Mitch. An incredible DJ and and incredible guy and I can’t recommend him enough. He truly knows the formula for a great party.”

The asparagus, mac & cheese, onion rings, and fries were all top-notch, each dish full of flavor and perfectly seasoned. Service was attentive, and the atmosphere warm and classy. 5/5 – Exceptional food and flawless execution. Highly recommend!”

“The guys who served us here were lovely, definitely felt very welcomed in this bar! Nice wee spot but it did get very busy, the Guinness was great too.. hard to find a good pint of Guinness outside of Ireland. This pub is dog friendly too!”

“I have put five stars for food because all round the place is great very welcoming very diverse doesn't matter who you are you can just sit at a table if you come in on your own and people will talk to you you can get up and sing the atmosphere is really good I can never fault it Skye behind the jump she's straight has all of the people behind there you cannot walk in there and feel that you're on your own even if you're shy make this your first place to go xxxxx”

“Friendly staff and warm welcome. Nice range of temperatures in the steam rooms, saunas, hot tubs and pool. The manager has a great sense of humour and I can imagine the only reason why people may have found her abrupt (which I’ve read in some reviews) was if they were breaking a rule (and the rules are in place to keep people safe and having an enjoyable experience). She was especially fantastic when I was getting changed at the end and had lost a contact lens by bringing in a little mirror with light to help me locate it! Thank you :-) I went on the Saturday evening session from 5.30 and enjoyed the atmosphere and balance of couples. I am not sure i would enjoy it if I attended mid week and found it full of lots of guys but the time at which I attended I felt very safe and comfortable and had a relaxing evening. Lockers are provided with a key that you return to reception - so no need to pack a £1 or to carry the key around for anyone who may be wondering. Also parking is right outside on the street with a pay by phone app. Very convenient.”

“You can't come to Brighton without visiting this iconic hotel. We sat in the bar and had an afternoon snack. BLT | Toasted bread, streaky bacon. gem luttuce. homemade £14. Smoked salmon & tiger prawn. iceburg lettuce, avocado. lemon. £16. And two pots of tea. Thought the prices were quite reasonable for such an impressive hotel. The service was good and we especially like it here as you can sit with your dogs.”

We chose our table, the decor was really cool, servers were exceptionally friendly and when the food came out, it was excellent. Reasonably priced and great quality. Served with a smile. “This place is a Hove staple, it’s beautiful inside, with amazing chandeliers and a beautiful bar. They run a consistently great Jazz night and the bar is always full of good mix of ages and people. I had Thai food here a long time ago, it is a good standard of pub Thai and very reasonable”

“The Gladdy is back !!! After the long awaited dismissal of the last manager, ( what a nobber !!) (who definitely didn't understand how to run this bastion of old school brighton pubs ) it is now under new management and what a breath of fresh air !! this place is banging once more. “Just back from a 2 night stay at this gorgeous hotel for a pre 70th birthday treat with my husband. I've stayed here a couple of times before and I will definitely choose this hotel again and again. The rooms are super comfy and clean, the staff are amazing and the food is well worth staying in for. I really can't fault anything about this hotel. “Favourite venue in town. Lovely staff and always have a variety of events on, the Silent Disco is honestly the best night out in Hastings. They also frequently host the Diamond Photo Booth so there are always some fun (and sometimes embarrassing!) photos of your night, 10/10 would recommend”
