“Had to make several visits with Minnie in last three weeks to have various tests and she has been diagnosed with Diabetes, needing insulin twice a day. I was quite taken a back by the substantial costs l have had to pay for everything so far, for the consultations, the treatment, tests and medical equipment l had to purchase. I was expecting to pay, but not as much as I have done, and this is still ongoing. Having said that, I could not fault the excellent service and attention Minnie has received so far. 30th July 2025 - Had to visit the vet again today as Minnie is not eating well and still drinking a lot. I had concerns, because I wasn't sure of the amount of insulin dosage l should give her. I phoned them yesterday afternoon and was told that I would receive a phone call that evening, as the vet was at another practice .I did receive the call, and they suggested they would make appointment for today, as vet wanted to see her. I was very grateful for the quick response. Vet did some more tests today, and her glucose levels were much to high. They want her to be monitored, and suggested she spends a whole day with them under supervision, so she goes in on Tuesday next week. I cannot fault the attention they have been giving her, and I can see that they care about the animals and do all they can to help them live the rest of their lives in comfort and painless.”

The staff were brilliant, letting me go through the side door so people in the waiting room wouldn't see the cat that had died en route. She did everything she could for him and then recommended next best step was referral which I did and it was the best thing for Mog. He is likely to still see Lizzie once a month for a monthly injection. Lizzie has also been brilliant helping me with my very elderly guinea pig! The whole team are very friendly and helpful.”

Friendly staff and always remind me when she is due her checkups and boosters etc. the pet club is a bargain as it covers all checkups, annual boosters and kennel cough spray and worming tablets and flea treatment. Also will cut claws and express anal glands as part of service. Discounts off specialised foods too. Would definitely recommend”

“We have moved to polegate from Hastings and chose this vets purely on recommendation. We have 3 pets and cookie this yorkie is our oldest. She's 15 years old and starting to get poorly. This veterinary practice greets you on the phone with a cheerful and happy manner. When you visit the practice all the staff are so sweet, they are kind, caring, considerate, full of smiles and really make you and your pets feel welcome. I've seen 2 different vets now and both were really thorough and very informative. You don't feel rushed or like you have no idea what they are talking about. They really take the time to explain and put your mind at ease. I could not recommend them enough. We are going back on Wednesday for another procedure for our little cookie, and I feel totally at ease knowing she will be looked after properly.”

I cannot praise Pet Doctors enough, they were gentle, compassionate, caring, kind and that's just how they were with us! Absolute wrecks that we were. She was not scared when she went and that is in large part thanks to Pet Doctors. Two weeks later, a card appeared in our post with a small packet of sunflowers, from Pet Doctors, giving their sympathy, this was a very sweet and appreciated action which touched us deeply. “We were recently referred by our local vets to see Gavin .Our eleven and a half year old Staffie had started to suffer from extreme lack of energy which we were concerned about.We got an early appointment with Gavin who advised us she would need to stay overnight for tests and treatments as needed .She was diagnosed with heart failure.Two months on She is a different dog running,playing and so much happier due to the medication as prescribed.So it is with the care and attention given by Gavin and his team that we have our Lovely Tia back enjoying a good life.We would highly recommend this surgery. It was 5.55pm and closing time, and young lady called Lisa answered, listened to my rambling very patiently and gave me good advice... DAISY Used one of her 9 lives, made it through to next morning. At 8.30 my phone rang and it was Lisa from STELLAR, to enquire after Daisy. That small act of kindness meant so much and reassured me that the lovely people at STELLAR VETS really are looking after Littlehampton pets. Give them a visit . You won't be disappointed. Ps.
