“We went for the all you can eat Chinese and we can say it was some of the best Chinese food we have ever eaten! The duck was delicious and crispy and everything was cooked to perfection! “Regional Chinese food from the north of the country. The cuisine was very different to the fare from a standard Chinese restaurant in Britain. We had Haggis soup(!), Chinese burger, tomato and beef frisked and Braised Pork meal (which wasn’t on the menu but we asked for it because the woman next to us was eating it and it looked delicious - and it was). All of it was great.”

“I recently tried the new starter menu at Stonehouse and was so impressed! The chicken goujons were perfectly cooked — lovely and tender, soft inside and not dry at all. The Camembert fondue was creamy and indulgent, paired beautifully with the toasted garlic bread (a match made in heaven!). The harissa prawns were another highlight — packed full of flavour with just the right hint of spice without being overpowering. Everything was well presented and tasted fresh. A fantastic new addition to the menu — I’ll definitely be ordering these again!”
