“Me and my partner popped in a little close to the 3 o’clock cut-off for food, but the service was exceptional and they looked after us so well. They went over and above to make our experience great, catering for my fish-like water drinking abilities and recognised my cluelessness in finding a toilet in record time without me asking. Seriously though, the staff made our afternoon :) The food was your classic brunch with a few little twists here and there. Both the dishes were tasty, with my only nitpick being that the garlic and herb beans were really just tomato ones. Otherwise, delicious! The coffees were decent too, and although there are some mega specialty places in Brighton that might pip it, it was a tasty brew! All in all it’s the perfect spot for a casual brunch or cafe for a chat. I do recommend”

“Had a lovely evening at pizza express being served by the lovely Paulina! She was bubbly and attentive, helping us sort out issues with the app and so we were able to utilize the deals available. “Thank you Hove Place for a wonderful Christmas lunch! Here goes a gushing review… Today my partner and I had booked in for Christmas Day lunch and it didn’t disappoint. We thought the £145 price per person was a bit steep (especially as there was a £6 supplement on the steak), but we’ve eaten in there before so we were confident it wouldn’t disappoint, and it didn’t! Firstly, we were greeted warmly by all of the staff, I thought they might be a little jaded after the first lunch sitting, but they were all full of energy and festive cheer. We enjoyed every single course; I loved my venison starter and the Christmas pudding dessert. We both agreed that the turkey was the best we’ve both ever eaten. Neither of us are huge turkey fans and I only eat it once a year at Christmas and generally regret it. We were served one thick slice of turkey each, in a stack with stuffing and a Yorkshire pudding, so we both anticipated to experience a mouthful of dry meat. How wrong we were; it was succulent and moist (yes I said that word). The food came out a good pace and the service from the lovely Courtney, our waitress, was great. The ambience of the pub is perfect for Christmas so we’re definitely going back again.”

“The salad bar is my favorite. I appreciate the wide selection of vegetables with several sauces to choose from. I also recommend the pizzas; there are eight varieties to choose from, and they are delicious. Drinks and desserts are not included in the price and need to be purchased separately. Very kind, friendly service.”

“Very good. Had the Sweet Chilli Chicken with noodles. Decent sized portion, very nice chicken, crispy coating and the sticky sauce was really good. I could taste lemongrass in the sauce which gave it to nice zingy fresh taste. The noodles were good. Staff were very friendly. Good stuff.”

“Just celebrated my daughter's 18th at the Prince Albert St restaurant and have to give a special shout-out to the lovely Hannah, our Server for the evening, who really went above and beyond to make our meal as enjoyable as possible. From the moment she greeted us at the door, she was all smiles, helpful manner and was happy to chat with me about tattoos!! She even arranged for one of our meals to be repackaged into take-away containers when one of our party had to leave early unexpectedly. Food was great - and even the manager (sorry didn't catch his name) popped over to have a chat with us about the footie match that night (!!) - plus of course to see how our evening was going! A really friendly atmosphere and truly great service. Recommend!”
