“My 11 month old daughter loved the under 2s soft play area, lots of sensory stuff to keep there minds busy, there is also other sections for different ages aswell as a cafe, parking area which can get full but spaces outside on the street”

“What a fabulous facility. I attended a birthday party here with my granddaughter. Safe, clean and every bit of play equipment you could imagine including avsensory room. Lovely,lively place.”

“My son has been attending Ambourne for over a year, since he was 1. He enjoys going and I can drop him off knowing he is happy there. All the staff are incredibly friendly - I’ve always loved how they greet my son by name no matter which room they work in or their role in the nursery. The nursery’s Montessori approach is what makes them stand out from other local nurseries. We particularly like the fact the children are encouraged to spend time outdoors either in their lovely natural garden or on little trips e.g to the park or to feed the ducks. The communication from staff is brilliant; they give useful information on what my son has done each day (verbal handover and via Tapestry) as well as regular ‘parents evenings’”

“We had a fabulous time at boomerang… I didn’t book online in advance as i wasn’t sure I was actually going to attend until the day.. (the centre prefers you to book online prior to your visit) but the lady on reception was so helpful, she even searched for my childminder discount code to ensure I got the discount. The new play arena is fantastic, I love love love the new addition of the bondi beach wooden play area in the under 5’s section that has replaced the old tired bouncy castle, I like that the younger children have a rope bridge now and can develop their climbing skills on the ladders to the top platform. The colouring station in the quiet area is great for children who need some down time of the hustle and bustle of the large play area. The only negative I have is that the toys in the baby section could do with some batteries to enhance the babies play. The addition of dingo dollars (reward points) is great, but not sure what they equate too and what you can use them for. I would recommend this place to keep the children entertained and definitely on a hot summers to keep out the heat”

“We hired the main hall for our sons birthday party and absolutely loved it. It is clean and spacious. The staff are brilliant, helpful and friendly. We will be using it again and recommending it to our friends.”

“Very happy with our decision to send our daughter to Archfield (attending for over a year now). I love the setting - nice bright open rooms, huge and varied outdoor space and away from busy roads. There has always been a lovely, warm atmosphere. Staff are dedicated, knowledgeable and happy to discuss any Q's or issues we might have, v supportive. They try hard to support our daughter's second language. They also hold webinars and evenings on things like behaviour, food etc. And it feels like a lovely little community in itself - we've made some friends with other parents via extra events the nursery has organised (beach days, Christmas events etc.). Most importantly, our daughter is happy and clearly learning so much. She comes home with new language and habits that haven't come from us! And she trots off to nursery very happy most of the time. No hesitation in sending our son when he's a bit older.”

“Always very impressed by the layout and cleanliness of PlayShed. Our kids love it (5+8), always plenty for them to do, and a table the wife and I can sit and have a coffee too. Food is nice too”

“We had our little boys 2nd birthday party at Whirlikidz this evening and it was absolutely lovely! The whole place was spotlessly clean, and welcoming. Having the private hire made it really special, and the children had the best time exploring the soft play. The staff were so friendly and helpful throughout, making everything run smoothly- from playtime to the cake cutting. The hot food buffet was brilliant, plenty of choice, and the kids especially loved finishing off with ice cream. Thank you for helping us create such happy memories for our sons special day.”

“We hired hall to discuss the exaplary life of prophet jesus/isa pbuh.. hall was good enough for 25 people, facilities were good like kitchen, tables and chairs and windows through out. Staff is nice”

“Perfect soft-play in my opinion. My sons are 21 months and 4 and because of the layout I am able to keep an eye on my eldest from the under 3's section. The floors are constantly being cleaned and the food is great with a good selection for both adults and fussy kids. My only complaint is that it is too close to home and too reasonably priced for me to say no when my eldest asks to go!!!”

“Purple Childcare is a fantastic nursery that we could not recommend highly enough. As soon as we viewed the nursery it was clear this was the place to send out daughter - all the staff were engaging and friendly and most importantly it was obvious the children were well cared for, stimulated and having lots of fun. Over the past year our first impressions have been proved absolutely correct and our daughter has flourished here. She looks forward to going each day and they have a great garden which they are always playing in but what makes purple Childcare so special is the staff. They all know my daughter so well and the way they talk to her and interact with her clearly show this, the feedback and updates we get also show how much they care and understand what she likes and what she needs.”
