“Went to the tea shop for lunch today. Looked small at first glance and we had our dog but the ladies serving said they were dog friendly and we could take her up the stairs where there was extra seating. It was lovely and quaint and the food was fresh and top quality. They even bought treats for the dog with our lunch. The kids had cocoa art on their hot chocolate and there was crayons and stencils for them to create pictures whilst we waited for our food. Nothing was too much trouble. They were really friendly and asked about our holiday so far. Would highly recommend the scones my husband ended up having two cream teas they were so tasty.”

“Absolutely lovely little spot, don't be deceived by the exterior this is a really nice place and the food was amazing. Had the bubble and squeak with cheese sauce, poached eggs cooked to perfection, cheese sauce was very cheesy and tangy and a good consistency. Fried bread as an extra, again cooked perfectly, nice and crispy and not greasy at all. Overall cleanliness was spot on. Would definitely recommend for a nice bite to eat.”

“Lovely little tea room, sadly as I have the dog it's not really possible to go in there, but they do takeaway so go and grab some of the random assortment of various cakes on offer. They also do doggy ice cream so dogs are rather happy too after doing the 4.5 mile circular walk around the High Street.”

“Oh my God! An awesome place for breakfast. Found this on Google as it was a 3 minute walk from our hotel. Turned out to be one of the best breakfasts in years... I had a beetroot Pesto avacafo Sandwich - it was AMAZING!!! The flower on top was literally like the cherry on top. Everyone on our table loved their sandwiches and croissants. The vibe of the place was outstanding... Plants for sale and a bunch of lights make it even better. Will be surely coming back if I am in Bristol again!”

“A community café alongside the library. There are seats inside although we sat outside and had a take away egg (banjo) sandwich and a bacon sandwich. They were both excellent and washed down with a cup of tea and coffee. At the time it was mainly breakfast items available although the lady said they had started doing takeaway pizzas too. You can also have a cake and a coffee for less than 5£ so perfect deal if you craving some sweet with your coffee. English breakfast was as expected, a large bowl of granola and the salmon and scrambled eggs on the sourdough bread was really generous ! (I think the salmon was not the freshest but at least I got quantity of it and that's something missing usually as you have only one small piece of it ..) It starts to be busy by 11am. Really recommended for the quick service and the amazing coffee ☕”
