“Absolutely fantastic tacos! I had an amazing experience. I ordered the tacos, and they were absolutely delicious. Very fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The tacos were soft but warm to a good temperature, generous fillings, and the toppings added just the right amount of crunch. The server in the black shirt (her name badge said shai) was amazing. Greeted me with a sweet smile and charm, and she was very patient in explaining everything. Excellent customer service. I'm definitely coming back:)”
“I went to Chilli Flames on Monday 17th November 2025, and met this awesome man Atif and some amazing colleagues of his. Everything from the service to the food and the cleanliness of the restaurant was spot on. Especially the service. Food was in filling and big portions, great value for money! Definitely going back sometimes soon. Thank you Atif and team!”
“This is a gem of a place. Just opposite the Old Rompney Castle in Wentloog Road. The ladies serve a wide range of quality food, from breakfast and hot and cold sandwiches and light brunch such as salads and jacet potatoes. There is a wide variety of hot and cold beverages including iced latte and teas and a good choice of cakes to tempt you. Really relaxed atmosphere and spotlessly clean, you really can't find places like this anymore as the prices are extremely affordable and you can ring in ahead and collect.”
“My new coffee break place, just behind hustle of queen street, near the museum a beautiful park and great coffee. Brodies is also now in Bute Park. Great staff. Beautiful outside sitting area.”
“The Arcadia Coffee House is one of a kind. They serve hot buttered crumpets, which not many cafes serve. The decor is fab and original and there is a great vibe. I love their lattes, which are served with lots of whipped cream and marshmallows. Their lemon cake is to die for! Tangy, moist and delicious. Need I say more? The Arcadia is situated at the forefront of Newport Arcade, and once you have have finished your latte, there are a myriad of little shops for you to visit there - each with their their own quirky style. You are bound to find something you like. Visit The Arcadia Coffee House and the Arcade itself and you will not be disappointed.”
“amazing, super friendly staff! i’m not really a coffee person but their hot chocolates are the best! and they’ve got a great playlist for the optimal chill coffee shop environment. one of the only places i don’t want to wear my headphones because it’s always a nice atmosphere, and super family friendly. (also, don’t pass up the opportunity to try any of the sweet treats!! it’s impossible to be disappointed :-))”
“The baguettes here are magnificent, very generous extremely tasty fillings. Great place to come for a lunch, and the potatoe wedges are out of this world. Try La Nouba once and you will be hooked.”
“The coffee was amazing - thick, velvety, great texture and taste. Welsh cakes - okay. Great pricing too.”
“I have definitely reviewed this before but very happy to do so again - this is a fabulous local business that serves a breakfast and lunch menu of freshly made and home-cooked food. Lovely atmosphere and the owner and staff are wonderful. Tea and coffee and are decent and the homemade cakes and treats are outstanding. Support a local business, firstly because they deserve it and secondly because the chain shops and cafes will be fine anyway.”
“The food is absolutely delicious and so reasonably priced for freshly cooked dishes from Colombia and Mexico. A very friendly vibe with Spanish speaking staff only too pleased to explain the dishes and help you choose. Went with family and had a great time that didn’t break the bank. Highly recommend this place, only a stone’s throw from Cardiff Central station and the Principality Stadium. ¡Buenissima!”
“Was not happy, because I thought it had closed down, very happy to see it open. The food is excellent, coffee outstanding and the staff very amiable. August '23 still great.”
“Very friendly staff, food was hot and tasty, cooked well, not greasy at all, well done and thank you. Daughter liked your cakes too...”
“Had my lunch here today had the most tasty half chicken I think I’ve had in a long time,it was cooked on a bbq and had the most delicious spices on it. Also came with fries and salad the salad came with a homemade spicy mayo that was also very good. Definitely would order this again.staff are also friendly. Highly recommend this dish”
“Lovely, friendly village coffee shop. A great selection of drinks, cakes and breakfast/lunch. Always a warm welcome.”
“Excellent on all counts: Food, Service, Atmosphere and Prices. The House Salad is more than enough on its own. There are quite a number of Small / Independent Coffee Houses & Eateries in Cardiff City Centre, But this is One of the Best and as someone has already stated 'A Hidden Gem". Recommended without hesitation.”
“lovely staff , i go there all the time ,best breakfast baps in cardiff!”
“I'd been meaning to book Anna-Loka for some time after seeing it on Dirty Vegan and reading the positive reviews about the food there. My partner and I have recently gone vegetarian, so I finally booked us a table for our first vegan experience and it didn't disappoint. We had the sharing platter for our starter and the menanam burger for our main. It was quite simply delicious! The deserts were great too. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the service very swift. We left the restaurant feeling very content and will definitely be visiting again. Well done, Adam, you've created a fantastic little restaurant here!”
“The old fella's pub of choice, they serve Directors a good strong beer. Dog friendly and lovely staff, Recommend.”
“I had a couple of coffees and an almond croissant, and everything was delicious. I was served by a young guy in glasses who kindly explained the coffee beans and provided service with a smile. I would recommend.”
“Excellent cafe and lots of stuff to do for little ones around. Had a breakfast roll which was reasonably priced and good quality.”
“Situated on Weston super Mares High Street opposite where Marks and Spencers once traded from. It's been open for a year now and is sandwiched between Mountain Warehouse and Fone World. Service was first class and I had the quickest cooked breakfast I've ever ordered. It also filled the spot just like a fry up ought to. Cafe probably seats around 50 customers with the option to sit out front on a warmer day. Staff were very friendly. I'll be sure to pop in again.”
“Best Chinese around. Great food, good portion size and fair prices”
“Good food. Fantastic service + atmosphere. Great prices. Swordfish pasta in fish stock is a must-try. Great combination of seafood flavour and cherry tomatos. They have lunch hour specials on weekdays from 12-2pm. £10 for 2 course, £13 for 3 course.”
“What a lovely cafe. Really friendly staff. Lovely looking cakes and excellent choice of drinks. Great location with views. Lots of covered seats if wet. Spot on!”
“We had lunch here today. Chicken and mayo baguette with salad, and ham and cheese baguette with salad, plus 2 hot chocolates with cream and marshmallows. Really nice food, good portions and excellent value for money. It's a cash only cafe so I had to dash to a local cashpoint.”
“Lovely coffee shop a short stroll from UHW. Small selection of sweet & savoury things to try. Lemon drizzle cake was deliciously moist & tangy. Good coffee & pleasant service. More seating outside than in for dry days.”
“This is the only place I go for breakfast!! The best sausages beans and eggs this side of Cardiff. Portion sizes are always generous and the cappuccino is better than the leading chains. If you're looking for good quality food, nice homely atmosphere and fantastic service, this is the place to make you smile.”
“We have been served by a young lady. Super friendly, smiley, kind and hard working. Place is clean including toilets. Food and drink-wise not so special., even a bit pricey. Recommended.”
“I was returning from the chemist. I was hungry and had been hungering for some lamb cooked over charcoal. I asked their recommendations, and their chef came over and told me the lamb options they had. I ordered Beyti, which was lamb mince mixed with chopped herbs and spices, in a freshly toasted wrap. It was simply amazing. Great depth and range of flavours, and the servings were more than enough. It was a great eating experience, and the chef was right to recommend eating the salad mixed in with the lamb in the wrap; the flavours mingled yet were side by side in each bite. Outside and inside looked inviting, the interior decor was pleasing with a 'night life in a hot country holiday' kind of vibe- gold, black, mirrors, that sort of thing. Seating was comfortable, and the place was clean. Cutlery was shining. The owner and his son were courteous; it was service with smiles. I've recommended the place to my friends and will be coming there again. It wasn't expensive and this place is a culinary excellence.”
“Typically are truly exceptional however today and yesterday no one in my household is able to contact them through phone so I'm left wondering what's happened. Their food is amazing , the best I ever had, truly. Yesterday takeout, which is extremely rare for us, was planned but it didn't happen. It made a rough depressing day much harder. Hope everything is okay over there? Edit: Their lines broke down. Everything was okay otherwise.”
