“I’m not usually the biggest fan of Chinese food, but my partner loves it, so we gave Hao Wei a try, and I’m so glad we did. The food is absolutely amazing, full of flavour, fresh, and seriously satisfying. The staff are friendly and welcoming. It’s now become a firm favourite for us and part of our go-to hangover cure routine. Highly recommend giving it a try, even if Chinese isn’t normally your first choice, you might be surprised like I was!”

“Went to Palomar for lunch and it was such a lovely experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was great, music was on point, our server was amazing and the food was absolutely delicious (we had oysters and the seafood boil). Little hidden gem! The only downside was parking, we aren't from Bristol and when we looked on Google maps there weren't any car parks nearby that we could see so we had to park on the road outside and walk to the restaurant.”

“Excellent chinese food and by far the best I've had in the Chippenham/Melksham/Corsham area!! We ordered a takeaway to eat with the in-laws after our little ones went to bed and it did not disappoint. I was very impressed by the flavours of the hk style sweet & sour (having grown up in hk, this tasted just like the sweet&sour I'd get back home) and the pork fried rice. The crispy shredded beef was STILL crispy by the time we got home and ate it 20 mins later, the salt & pepper squid was also crispy and very tasty. We had half crispy duck with pancakes which was delicious, 2 different veggie dishes, lo mein noodles, spring rolls etc.. all in all about 10 dishes and came to just under £100 for 4 adults (averaging about £25 each). Which is very good considering the amount we ate! Everyone was full and there was even plenty leftover for lunch the next day. However I do feel like they could've thrown in some prawn crackers or something else for free given the size of the order. But then again maybe they don't do that because it's not your typical Chinese, it's better. Regardless, this is my new fave Chinese restaurant and will definitely be ordering from here again!”

“I have a delivery from the mango house and first everything was packing perfectly then I was impressed for the quality and quantity of the food it was only for me and it seems like for two or three persons. I really like the share dish and the Bread is hay they add to my order. Really recommend!”

“Visited on a quiet Tuesday lunch time with my daughter and had the £10 adults meal deal which includes a 9” inch Marg (I paid an extra quid for prosciutto), dip (I went for the pesto mayo) and any soft drink. Food all superb, their sourdough pizzas and faultless and I’m obsessed with the dips. Kids meal deal at £10 is slightly higher end but the pasta and ice cream were both demolished with relish so worth it! Kids do eat free with an adults main though (Sun to Friday) - so next time I’d pay for a 12” regular pizza and get the kids meal free, I was just a bit flappy yesterday and hadnt worked out which was better value! (Doh…) Marked slightly lower for atmosphere just because it was a bit empty in there when we visited, but I’ve been when it’s busier and it’s very ‘buzzy.’ We love the decor and vibe.”

“My friend & I enjoyed a Lush breakfast at Dalia Cocina last week. She had a healthy option taco whilst I went "all in" and treated myself to a full breakfast (smll). Couldn't believe it included all this + a cuppa!... Fantastic!! I was pleasently surprised as all of the ingredients were made from top notch ingredients... Free range eggs, juicy, plump sausages, lush back bacon, tomatoes, beans, field mushrooms and lush thick crusty toast. Made a nice change! The staff were very nice, helpful and our meals were cooked in front of us which didn't take long and we had service with a smile. I loved the Day of the dead decor too, bright and cheerful and unique and quirky.... Thank you for a lovely experience, as Arney says "I'll be back!" x”

“Wow what a find. Other people had recommended this restaurant to me but this was the first time the stars aligned and I stopped to order a takeaway. Asked the guy taking my order for a vegetarian recommendation and it was delicious. But so was everything else! And so much food that we ended up eating it over two meals!!”

“This is the first time that we have used since new management reopened. We had cod and chips and Clark's pie. The fish was moist with a nice crunchy batter. Clark's pie was fresh the chips were to die for all very tasty. The staff was very friendly and the premises was very clean and tidy. You can guarantee that we will be using again. “Me and my fam have been a long time customer of Kimling for probably over 20 years now, prob put hundreds into that place and we have never thought to leave a review! Over the years we’ve ordered a lot of different things off the menu: got big set meals for 10+ people all the way down to cheeky half and half comfort meals bought out of pocket money as I was growing up. Kimling have always been consistently amazing, very quick with orders and we have always had great service. I’ve moved away from Bristol now but I have had cravings for a good Kimling from time to time, tonight though I come back for a home visit and just had a meal that was legit the best Chinese I’ve had. They changed the chips again! The salt and chilli fries are the best they have ever been, seriously tasted like something out of a fancy Chinese street food truck or something. Loads of spice, loads of flavour and extra crispy. The fried rice can’t be beaten, still not had any better anywhere else. Best recommendations for stuff that we’ve had over the years: Kung Po Chicken Chicken balls are huge and crispy The crispy duck is fab Special chow mein with the pork and chicken i think it was, used to be served as a cut up breast ontop with the bbq sauce, the meat had crisp and flavour to it. Anyways, obviously I highly recommend it, and it turns out they deliver now and accept card through ordering a collection on their site which they never used to, so more of a reason for people to get food from this hidden gem!”

“I regularly eat at this place as it's just round the corner from my work. I started off on the Steak PF which involves beautifully cooked beef with cheese and onions on their bed of rice, beans and potato salad, and frankly it was difficult to move away from that, it's fantastic. However I bravely opted to try the Galinhada, a chicken, rice and olive dish, which may just be even more moreish! I can't decide. Great portion sizes for the cost and served by two of the nicest people you could hope to meet. They always make me feel really welcome.”

“We went early in the evening on a Thursday. Wonderful place just at the top of the marina, with indoor and outdoor seating. Very friendly staff, who are very welcoming and accommodating to requests. Service was quick and the food came quickly. Freshly cooked, high quality ingredients. Delicious food. Great restaurant to visit if you are in the area.”
