He was incredibly knowledgeable and offered a range of options at different price points, with no pressure—just genuine, helpful advice. Thanks to Oscar, I know exactly what shoes will be the perfect pair of shoes for me, unfortunately they didn’t have them in stock in the colour way I wanted but he signposted me online to get them! “Celebrating 55 years this October and still run by the family. I have been going here since it first opened, I was a teenager then, and I'd still one of my favourite Bristol shops. Now even more favoured by the charming time spent talking to the husband and wife staff in the forces surplus section. My Vietnamese friend and his son enjoyed it too and when my friend said that he had fought the Americans during the Vietnam war as part of the Viet Kong I thought we might never stop them talking but time was against us and now there is camouflage clothing bought and one day soon it will be taken to China. A present for my friend's brother. Keep up the good work guys. This shop is so special. If you are reading this review and you have never been then do go. It's not simply military. It is all things outdoors on different floors.”

“I use this branch of Halfords quite regularly and the team are always helpful and friendly. After my experience with returning a car-seat I thought I would leave a review. The teams customer service was faultless and the swiftness of the process was great. The manager's advice on a suitable replacement was hugely appreciated. I also had to pick up some click and collect items which were delayed slightly due to a glitch in the websites system. Once again the customer service was excellent”

“Such a relaxed atmosphere in this well stocked shop. Friendly customers and friendly, helpful expert staff always willing to offer advice, assistance and knowledge. I'd been struggling to find a way to mount my phone to my sports bike. No room on clip-on bars. Fork stem with a solid, not hollow, nut. Asked staff to look at my bike for a solution. 5 minutes later I left shop with clutch/brake fitting attachments to mount my phone. Sorted. As easy as that. (Thank you Sportsbikeshop). Honestly, you won't find better service, products, and lots of exciting stuff to browse than in this shop. This is my favourite shop.”
