“Had my rear brake discs/pads replaced last year at another garage for £250. Had my front brake pads/discs replaced at Advance Autocare, as they are local and had good reviews. I know fronts are more expensive than rears but these were more expensive than I thought they were going to be (based on the cost of the rear) but the difference in quality between the front and back discs is chalk and cheese. I now know why the other garage were so cheap and why my rear pads need replacing already after 10,000 miles (when I usually get quadruple that). Going to use these guys from now on as they obviously use quality components. Staff really helpful and friendly also.”

As a young woman, I pretty much always get scammed by garages, and all my female friends/relatives have had very similar experiences, and it makes getting MOTs and taking the car to be fixed/checked over SO stressful. This is the first time a garage hasn't completely made up loads of things wrong with the car just to get money out of me. I took it for an MOT, it was done in about an hour and they charged me exactly what they initially said they would. And as a bonus, the guy working there was so polite/friendly! “What can I say,after being let down by Servicing Stop the day before my car being picked up for a service and MOT,I went online and these guys came up with availability, unfortunately when I booked and confirmed,I got a call from them saying they were fully booked for the following day but then said,give me 5 minutes and I'll call you back,a couple of minutes later I got the call and was very happy,they squeezed me in for service and MOT,top blokes and very hospitable,was shown the waiting area and offered a coffee,in fact had 2,car failed on a minor so Lucas got on phone to suppliers who had what they needed for car,so whilst service was being done the part turned up,Lucas showed me the part replaced through deterioration, service done,part fitted,back through MOT,PASS,I can't thank or RECOMMEND these guys enough.Thank you Team Car Aid,have already recommended you to friends and family.”

“Had already called at one garage and was told - you need front pads, discs and caliper needed taking apart. I saw £ signs. On the off chance I called in on Village Autos. They could check the car straight away. I was given a lift home and was told they would ring me if it was more than changing the pads. Couple of hours later I received a call to say my car was ready. £45, I supplied the pads. Once again, I was picked up and taken to collect my car. Customer service was great, along with advice given. There are very few garages like this left. Well done all. I will definitely use them again and recommend to others. Many thanks.”
