βIt was our little boy Noah's last day at Victoria Day Nursery today. We loved receiving his literacy and numeracy books and they really demonstrate how much time Amanda has dedicated to all the pre-schoolers. We also had a book of photo memories and in every single one Noah looked like he was having a brilliant time with his friends and had such a cheeky grin on his face! Noah has attended this nursery since he was 6 months old. Going back to work after having a baby is a scary and daunting experience but Amanda made the transition so easy that I have honestly never had to worry once after I've dropped him off. Amanda really does work tirelessly to ensure all the children at the nursery have a safe environment to learn, develop and express their creativity. She has allowed Noah to flourish and has helped him grow into a polite, kind and sociable little boy ready to start reception. She genuinely cares about every single child and always goes above and beyond to ensure they feel happy while at nursery. Aside from all her work inside of the nursery, she has also always listened to any problems we've been having at home and given us support, guidance and advice. For example, we really struggled with Noah being a picky eater at home and she managed to get him to try such a variety of new foods and we are so proud of his progress. The same goes for all of the girls at the nursery, who have shown nothing but kindness and patience with Noah. He always comes out so excited to tell us about his day and sing any new songs that he's learnt on the way home. We feel so lucky Noah has had the privilege of going to Victoria Day Nursery and feel so sad that his journey is over but we will be forever grateful to Amanda, and if you are looking for a warm family environment for your child please look no further!β

βI had the pleasure of doing CBT, EMDR, and ACT with Paul for several months. I came to Paul in an emotional state, with a complex background of dysfunctional family, relationship difficulties, trauma and addiction. We worked together to improve the quality of my life, and teach me how I could approach life differently. Paul helped me to come to terms with being an Addict and was with me for my early days of recovery in 12 step fellowship, while we focused on targeting specific trauma. In the several months I went from avoiding my feelings, to accepting and being willing to feel my feelings. We got to the root of my issues and what was really going on and how my past linked together to build this net of survival tools. I would recommend Paul to anyone, his approach was factual, educational, personal, but not opinionated or demanding, or biased. He let me come to terms with things myself, and helped me to learn, and gave me exercises to help me look into things. Paul understood that changes comes from within, and understand that my emotions are what i experience, they do not have to become them. That it's acceptable, and healthy to feel my feelings. Thanks to Pauls help, I have been freed to live life, and function, I can take care of day to day things, and am excelling in my professional work life, and personal life. Very grateful for everything Pual has done for me.β

βI have been a customer of Once Upon a Time Nursery for about 4 years, firstly with my son from age 1, and now my daughter, who has also attended since turning 1. They both settled amazingly there and bonded well with their key workers. They were a Godsend with wrap around care when my son started half days in school, and collected him from his class and escorted him over to the nursery until we finished work. If he had the option to keep going there, he would have. It was a sad day when he left as it seemed like am end of an era. Their daily activities look very fun and their workbooks are something I will always treasure. They also have exciting visits from animal encounters and Nose to Toes Yoga which broadens their experiences at nursery. Thank you for all you have done and continue to do Once Upon a Time!β

βThis is a fantastic nursery. My twins have been going here since they turned two and have really enjoyed it and blossomed. They have learnt songs in different languages (including Welsh and Cantonese), enjoyed helping prepare healthy snacks such as soup and sweet potato wedges, enjoyed watering the tomato plants and then enjoying the fruits of thir labour! The range of activities is amazing. Great that there is an outside area where they have a play each day (weather permitting) including a mini Olympics in the summer. The staff are so caring and particularly great with my shy twin helping her settle in at her own pace. Would highly recommend.β
