“I came here for some paints mixing and have some very positive feedback! Customer Service had sent someone over before I asked, which is always good. The gentleman who helped me could not have been more helpful, he helped me pick the correct type of paint, was genuinely interested in what I was using it for, and didn't rush me at all during the process. Definitely a gold standard compared to other Homebase branches I have visited.”

“I never appreciated how good the layout, quality, store tidiness and overall service was until we called into B&Q for a change! Here we have friendly staff and customer friendly payment tills, happy with cash,card payments and no customer-repelling self service tills which are clearly inadequate for larger items. Good work staff and management and we won’t be going anywhere else again and please don’t ruin everything by getting rid of the tills!”

“Popped in here as my friend only live down the road and I was staying in Newport for the weekend. My friend ordered an all day breakfast, she said her was lovely not greasy really nice and her red label tea was lovely. I had scone with cream and apricot and earl grey tea which was stunning and only £2.75 filed by tuna jacket potato which was delicious proper oven cooked jacket. I was hesitant coming here after reading some reviews but the food was lovely only £7.25 for mine in total and considering it’s only a supermarket cafe I was very impressed. The staff were all friendly, helpful and courteous and even got me extra salad dressing. I would definitely return and recommend”
