When they didn't have enough stock of what we wanted, she placed a private order for them to be delivered from the warehouse. “Took my two Shih Tzu's for grooming in The Pet Shop. They had flea and worming treatment done as well because my one dog won't take the tablets. I feel they did a fantastic job with my dogs as they can be quite anxious. One is more anxious than the other. They gave me good advice about my dogs for their anxiety. They were able to tell me that my dog had an infection in her ear so I could treat it properly. The price was reasonable. They look absolutely lovely, so pleased with they way their fur was cut. Would highly recommend them.”

“The owner Steve, is an absolutely lovely guy & nothing was too much trouble. I arrived at 12pm & Steve checked me in straight away. The guest house was absolutely spotless & the grounds were immaculate. I stayed in room 2 which had a very comfy bed, tv, great WiFi connection, charging points next to the bed, tea/coffee facilities & ensuite. The breakfast was first class. Each room also has 1 parking space. Ty Castell is in an excellent location & only a 2 minute walk to the town centre & train station. I will definitely stay again when in the area & highly recommend this guest house.”

“Brilliant experience. We took our eight and three year old grandchildren to Mountain View Ranch to see the Gruffalo Trail, but the Ranch is so much more than the Trail. It’s 100 acres of wide open space for kids to run around and explore with cleverly interspersed activities on a nicely choreographed route. The activities and experiences blend in with the wonderful natural setting and are all good quality. It was our first visit, so it was all new to us, but I think every visit will be different due to the seasons. The children loved the map and collecting the stamps on it along the way so they could get the Gruffalo sticker. There are porta loos scattered discretely along the route and plenty of bins, including recycling. Benches and picnic tables are available to eat your own picnics. As it is school holidays the Pizza Hut was open. Pizzas were freshly made and tasty, prices £10 to £12. Had a quick look in the coffee shop and apart from ice cream, cakes and takeaway coffee there only seemed to be a few white bread pre-packed sandwiches available. We pre booked on the website and got a 10% discount. We were lucky with the weather, some showers first thing and then sun, but if the weather is going to be bad on the day you’ve booked you can move your booking. Price was very good, £32.90 for the four of us. We booked a 9.40 slot, and could have stayed until the park closed at 5pm. From the playground sited in a huge sand pit with big Tonka Toy trucks at the entrance, to meeting (spoiler alert) the Gruffalo at the end this is a brilliant day out for the whole family. No need for a phone, except to take some lovely photos. Unfortunately as my grandchildren are visible in most of my photos I can’t post too many here. There are some improvements coming into 2026 and we look forward to returning to The Ranch. The Mountain View Bike Park is separate, but next to the Ranch, so there is something for everyone on this site.”

“I ordered a mixed kebab from this takeaway and was really impressed from start to finish. The food was fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavour. The mix of meats including chicken and doner – were all cooked perfectly. Each type had its own unique taste, nicely seasoned, and grilled to just the right texture. The chicken was juicy and tender. The kebab came with a generous helping of salad – everything was crisp and fresh, especially the lettuce and onion. The bread was soft and warm, with a slightly toasted edge that gave it a great texture. The sauces were just right, not overpowering, but added a lot to the overall flavour. I especially liked the garlic sauce and chilli. The service was just as good as the food. The staff were really friendly and welcoming, which made a big difference. They were polite, helpful, and made sure everything in the order was correct. You could tell they take pride in both their food and how they treat customers. It felt personal and professional, not rushed like some takeaways can be. Overall, I was very happy with my order. The food was fresh, tasty, and filling, and the service was excellent. I’ll definitely be ordering again soon – highly recommended if you’re looking for a quality kebab with great customer care”

“Took my Nan for a birthday meal here, which unfortunately had a lot of no shows. The staff were so lovely and kind, they really turned the day around for her and went above and beyond. I'm extremely grateful to all working yesterday. The Sunday lunch was fantastic, I'd come back for the roast potatoes alone. Food was quick to be served and a lovely atmosphere as always.
