“Placed an order last night for 7 boxes and it was amazing! Everyone loved it, the staff catered for all of our amendments and special requests. Food quality is definitely above their competitors that I’ve tried.”
“The food was very delicious, and the female staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend trying the biryani and thalis!”
“Good Italian home style cooking. The mushroom starter was soft and wonderfully seasoned. The cod was flaky in a delicate sauce. The home made Tiramisu was literally a melt in the mouth miracle. We sat outside and the whole time a waiter was outside watching to see if anyone needed anything.”
“Absolutely one of the best Chinese Restaurants we have been to. Great food, lovely atmosphere and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Service was excellent and it is definitely a place to visit for delicious food.”
“Amazing food! Staff were amazing so friendly and fast! Food was so tasty would 100% recommend”
“The old fella's pub of choice, they serve Directors a good strong beer. Dog friendly and lovely staff, Recommend.”
“Went for lunch yesterday and had a lovely tuna and cheese panini. It came with homemade coleslaw and salad, large portion. Staff are always happy and friendly, prices always reasonable. Knights is a lovely little cafe so if you're peckish, head on over.”
“Ordered from here a few time now. Very nice food, prese red well, priced well, and delivered within a good time. Delivery drivers are always polite and staff are friendly. I highly recommend ordering from here”
“Tried this today for the first time, amazing! My friend has been going on about it forever but I had never tried. Had a salad with two meats, jerk chicken was awesome. Huge amount of salad for the money. GREAT!”
“The best curry house in south Wales. It never disappoints! Highly recommended!”
“Lovely customer service with accurate updates on how long it would take. Food was delicious and had that old school takeaway feel, think guilty pleasure. The mixed starter for one came with two chicken balls, two prawn toast, two spring rolls and two ribs which is great for the price and easily spread further than one person. Couldn't fault it.”
“Ordered on Uber Eats. Loaded chips were cheesy and extremely tasty. Wings were also amazing, do wish they had the option to add more spicy peppers to the chips but that's just me. Will be making this my regular takeaway now !”
“Fresh, tasty burger and quick delivery Can't fault Bashed! Food is always amazing. Full of flavour. Would definitely recommend. Tried the others but these guys make by far the best bashed burgers in Barry.”
“Delicious Greek food, located in the Cardiff market. We had Souvlaki in Psomaki rolls (instead of Pita). Great portion and very tasty. First time we've tried Psomaki and glad we did, even better than pita. Basically a toasted sub roll, but light and crispy. Staff friendly, and quick service, thank you!”
“I ordered for my partner to collect today and oh my this is our new favourite curry place. Everything was piping hot and fresh, really delicious. We will be ordering again for sure.”
“Staying in the area for the night and decided on a Chinese takeaway, checked reviews for local ones online and this place seemed to be the most favourable. Gotta say, probably the nicest Chinese we've ever had, even so we'd consider the 35min drive each way to come and collect going forward! Chicken balls were amazing, ribs were absolutely superb, noodles were gorgeous with just enough spice and proper chips! Winner!”
“A Unique and Fun Team Activity – Pizza Making at Its Best! I was tasked with organising a staff social for a small group from our Cardiff-based team, and wanted to do something a bit different—ideally something food-related and hands-on. As a pizza lover, I hoped to find a local pizza-making class, but came up short… until I spotted that The Real Italian Pizza Co offered children’s pizza parties. We reached out, and they were happy to adapt the experience for adults. So we booked it—and we’re so glad we did. We were warmly welcomed by our hosts, Hester and Shesna, who greeted us with generous antipasto platters and offered drinks as we settled in. Once we were all fed and ready, Chef Kris took over and the real fun began. He gave us a quick intro to the pizza dough process, explaining the ingredients and techniques involved, and then we got hands-on with some dough kneading. It was a relaxed, friendly session—perfect for a group with mixed levels of culinary confidence! We moved on to shaping pizzas using pre-proven dough, choosing from a wide selection of fresh toppings. Kris talked us through the stretching technique and even joked that one of our team had shaped theirs so well, they might be hired on the spot. Finally, we brought our pizzas to the oven where Kris gave each one a final flourish before expertly firing them. Within minutes, we had our creations back, piping hot and delicious—ready to eat and compare (with plenty of banter, of course). Overall, it was a brilliant afternoon—something a bit different, easy to organise, and very well hosted. We’d definitely recommend it as a fun, food-focused alternative to the usual team lunch.”
“Used to live in Llanhilleth 2012 Tamarind was our go to Indian. Since moving to Cardiff nothing has compared. Working in Abertillery yesterday I pulled by to pick up a cheeky curry on the way home. 13 years later, still the best curry house in south wales.”
“Spice, Spice Baby! Wow! Amazing food with great service. I love my spices and Vanilla Spice got it just right. And the beer was great too. Roar which is a local craft lager was great. Definitely brightened up a dismal wet night in Newport.”
“The fish and chips were excellent. I had gluten free and my husband had ordinary. Cooked to order but still quick and friendly service. Good value for money. We will certainly come again. Very convenient to be able to sit inside and eat”
“Loved this lovely snack bar situated on the top of Caerphilly Mountain. From there you can follow a number of trails, taking you on a few Circular routes. We found the cream of the crop when we discovered a World War ii Spitfire that had crashed into Caerphilly Mountain in 1914, there were no surviers, but a memorial has been maintained just off the main trails. We had refreshments at the snack bar and enjoyed. First class service guys.”
“Quaint little pub that unless you knew it was there you wouldn't know about it. Shame there's no food served there however a great selections of beers and ales. Friendly service and good atmosphere. Saw that they advertised live bands, which is on a Saturday night but unfortunately I was there kn a Friday!!!”
“Such amazing people running this Chinese restaurant. Food is authentic and huge portipns for our takeaway! The service was quick but it was all home-made. They also have cute axolotl's as pets and a very sweet atmosphere.”
“Probably the best fish and chip shop in Cardiff. Lovely food , big portions, super friendly staff who say hello and serve you quickly. There is a to to watch if you do have to wait and a cash machine just outside. The battered sausages are brilliant, the fish is Fab and you get loads of nice fresh chips. Very clean, never had a bad experience with any of the food there. Definitely worth a visit.”
“Really great curry! The man behind the till was lovely and the food is a decent price! Definitely will go again”
“A perfect night great location staff food and atmosphere. Always a great place to eat out especially in the summer. Great sunset over the Welsh coast line”
“Such warm and welcoming service, the food was amazing too. Excellent portion sizes and value for money. The decor is such a nice touch too. We will be back!”
“I’ve been going to the Golden Sea for like 30 years, with a few years out I’ve moved back to Weston, and after trying a few with delivery, collecting from the Golden Sea is now much preferred, it’s cheaper and tastes so much better!”
“Best dinner on worle high street! The halloumi pitta and chips are amazing! We were also able to wait with our dogs and the staff were so friendly. Worth a visit for a cheeky mid-weeky :)”
“Excellent food quality. It's better than any other takeaway in Weston. Sit inside for great food and service.”
