“Visited for a family meal on Sunday. Atmosphere was very pleasant staff was polite and accommodating. Food was served in officiant time and hot on arrival and tasted lovely the Christmas menu has a great range and was cooked lovely. Also great range of food for children. Will definitely return in the future”

“We visited Gourmet Food Kitchen for the first time on Saturday evening. We were not quite sure what to expect but we were certainly not disappointed! The food was absolutely amazing. Each course was as delicious as the last. It was beautifully presented and tasted divine. You sit at a table of 12 so it’s a very social gathering and Tony and his wife Debs chat along with you. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening and hope to be back again soon!”

“Ate here tonight and initially seated near a very loud group of women. We asked to be moved and were quickly accommodated further away (and followed by another couple also moving away). The loud group were soon asked by the waiting staff to moderate their volume (some of the language being unpleasant), which was done very politely and professionally. The group eventually decided to leave which meant the atmosphere improved considerably. It was a delicate situation for the staff which was admirably handled. Meanwhile- we ordered our food and wine- lovely meals- a great choice on the menu, large portions, very tasty and fresh. The wine was beautiful. A great place for a delicious meal with excellent staff. We will return.”

“I have a wonderful time at Quigley's, every time. The cozy atmosphere and beautiful garden seating is made for a great, chill evening. The outdoor area is charmingly decorated with comfortable seating. Combined with well-crafted cocktails and Irish live music you can enjoy the evening for all occasions.”

“I came here today with family. Car park is very small so parking can be a little difficult. We opted for the roast which was extremely tasty and hot. The food is very reasonably priced. I had the sticky toffee pudding for dessert (it was nice but very sweet). Overall, I'd say this is a nice place that deserves a visit!”

“Lovely meal, good selection of pub favourites alongside healthier options. There is outside wrap around seating with views of the canal and river where you can watch the world and boats go by. The only downside to sitting outside were patrons not controlling their dog's and the more inebriated customers bellowing to passers by which is why I've given the lower score for atmosphere.”

The staff were amazing and couldn’t have been more accommodating of any request, no matter how big or small. The food was incredible and plentiful as always and the service impeccable. A nice chatty atmosphere as the place was busy (always a good sign) but not loud. The food didn't disappoint, my salmon was cooked to perfection and nods of approval from the others said it all. Can't comment on the beer as I, unfortunately, was driving! Thanks to all the staff, thoroughly recommended.”

“Since we have loved here this place has been through a few incarnations but the food and service we received when we went there this weekend was by far the best and one of the most well accomplished Sunday lunches we have had - everyone finished their massive portions (see pictures) The key lime pie was the only odd thing - the strawberry almost completely covered the lime taste but the pie was good without it. 100% recommend”

“Been lots of times to the cozy club their breakfast and brunch menu is brilliant lots of different things on there. I have tried quite a few. The bubble and squeak was one of my favourites unfortunately I think they have took it off the menu. I’ve tried a new dish recently it was really good came out really fast was cooked to perfection. The lobby, the rooftop garden, and the outdoor courtyard are all designed to perfection — stylish, spotless, and truly impressive. The atmosphere is incredibly beautiful and refreshing; I honestly haven’t seen anything like it anywhere else in the UK. The food quality was excellent, full of flavour and beautifully presented. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and genuinely warm, which made the experience even better. A truly outstanding place that delivers far beyond what you expect. Highly recommended.”

“Went for Mother’s Day and had a nice lunch. Shame the price inflates so much just because of this day, same food different day. Pie was good, pork belly not crispy and a bit of a let down. Desserts were good, chocolate & salted caramel tart was nice. Service was slow, had to ask for drinks and the bill multiple times. Not really an excuse being Mother’s Day, it’s expected to be busy. Would try again though.”

“We were very hungry visitors to the town. Never visited before, and was on the look out for a full English, we were actually heading to find somewhere else but this caught my eye. Never heard of it before but have since learnt that they have many around the country. Welcome and service was exceptional. We had a person with an allergy with us and the staff were very thorough and made us all feel at ease. Allergy menu available on line and easy to see. Food arrived and it didn't disappoint at all. Great portion with a bit of everything on it and it was amazing. Thank you to Liliana for being an enthusiastic, helpful, chatty ray of sunshine and making it all the more special. The 6 course tasting menu we did was also amazing value for what we were given. The fish stew was my absolute favourite course, but the harissa carrot soup and chocolate mousse were close runners up.
