“I had an appointment at the breast clinic yesterday. Full of nerves I was met by a friendly receptionist and had to fill in a form. The waiting room was small but there was also a court yard to sit in on warm days. Mr Khan the consultant was equally very friendly and approachable and soon put me at my ease. I also didn’t wait too long to see him. I then was referred for a mammogram and scan, done within the unit. I equally didn’t wait too long for those. Both very friendly staff putting me at my ease. The whole experience took just over an hour and a half and I was informed of the outcome, fortunately for me it was good. I can thoroughly recommend this excellent service and hope this will allay some fears when being referred. Good luck.”
