“My partner and I rang up to book a table late on bank holiday Sunday and luckily they squeezed us in. First time visiting and it is a lovely setting a small restaurant, it doesn't have much branding on the outside but looks like they have a lot of regulars! Staff were lovely prices were very reasonable and the food was lush! Good portion sizes too! My only quarrel is that the steak cheese burger I had said it was American cheese but it was more of a sauce (see in my photo) than a cheese slice which wasn't to my taste but that is more of a preference and just something I thought I'd make people aware of. Lovely restaurant!”

The food was absolutely beautiful, staff very attentive and I think it was v reasonably priced, £26 for poppadom/ pickle tray, pint of larger and a mixed Korai (chicken, lamb, king prawn, kebab) amd pilau rice. “Friend took me here last night on a Xmas trip up to Swad for an impromptu curry night and have to say was one of the best I’ve had in a long time. The red onion pickle tray pot is a delight and my garlic chilli chicken was delicious. Meat was cooked perfectly and very well spiced. Would deffo eat there regular if lived nearby.”

“Been there a few times now and never been disappointed. Exquisite food that makes your tastebuds dance with joy and saliva glands flow like Niagara Falls. Personally for me it’s the Lamb Shank dish, spicy but amazing. There’s an excellent verity of dishes to choose from which are beautifully presented. The service is always accompanied with a smile. The dining area is well lit, clean with refreshing white tableware, a cabin style seating area is also available. The price is reasonable. We visited on a Thursday at 6pm, come 8pm it was full. I would suggest booking a book a table. I highly recommend without any hesitation.”

“After a very disappointing visit to Curry's, we popped in today because my washer packed up. Bought a washer and Condensor drier from your shop and within the hour they were already delivered and installed by poor Craig. I say 'poor Craig' because the task he had was almost impossible but he managed to squeeze them around tight spaces and then fit them in to a very narrow space off my kitchen. Well done to him and thanks very much for your brilliant service today.”

“Overall, brilliant place to eat out will definitely come again. We ordered garlic bread, BBQ chicken pizza and lasagna. They were all great value for money, arrived in decent time, and tasted excellent; we left full and very happy. Although the resturant was empty when we went (we went 6pm Tuesday night) there was still a friendly and calming atmosphere with interesting decor and lovely staff. Only negative I can think of- you have to pay £3 for water (did not enquire about tapwater). Owners: I recommend putting a sign outside by the high street or post lots on social media- you deserve more customers!”

We tried another Shepshed takeaway last night, as Yam’s is closed on a Monday. It very was a poor second, won’t be moving my custom away again, I’d rather wait an extra day.”
