“Best Chinese take away in West Lothian in my opinion, we order here a lot and the food is always consistently amazing and flavourful! Delicious vegetarian options like crispy tofu, crispy spring rolls and amazing egg fried rice. Have heard nothing but good things from meat eater family members, but at least for veggies I can say it's my favourite Chinese to order from. Satay sauce is the best, not too sweet like some places make it and has a lovely nutty flavour as it's meant to be. The veg they use is fresh and perfectly cooked - can't fault this place one bit. Will always be our staple Chinese take away.”

Chicken, duck, prawns are rich and full of flavour, rice cooked on a daily basis, and thin noodles are succulent.”

“This is a thoroughly decent Chinese (British style) Takeaway in Livingston. I've tried lots of them and this one so far is the best! I drive and travel a lot up and down the U.K. and eat out regularly from North and central Scotland down through England and Wales. In comparison to most high street places of a similar I'll this one is a step above. Tried their Satay and it was banging. Spicy, nutty, tasted homemade and the chicken was juicy. Salt and Pepper box with chips, noodles and chicken with a side of curry also very good value at £7.60 with a main of Sweet Chilli Chicken at £6.80 gave two big men full bellies and a happy feeling of a good dinner with leftovers for lunch then next day.”

“I had heard from my neice about the mixed grill in the Saltire and I'm glad she suggested it as it was the best meal I have had in a very long time it was stunning. I said to Nathan that I enjoyed my meal more than I had in other places and I said I would be back for more and I certainly will be soon. “We go to Tony macaroni Livingston as a family fairly regularly. Each time we are there we are blown away by the service. Claire always does everything that she can to make sure our time their is as comfortable as possible. Having a daughter who has additional needs can make it difficult when eating out, especially because of the issues she has with food. Claire makes this experience one that we actually look forward too. She remembers our family everytime we go, always asks how we all are. She asks my daughter where she would be comfortable sitting and makes this work no matter how busy the restaurant is. She accommodates my daughters food choices and regularly checks if everything is ok. She takes an interests in how both our daughters are and chats to them regularly throughout our visit, ensures they enjoy their time at the restaurant and just generally makes our time there so easy and comfortable, something which doesnt always happen at other restaurants. I would highly recommend going to Tony macaroni, simply because everyone is treated fairly and accepted for who they are. I can't thank Claire enough for the care and compassion she shows our family at every visit. She includes our younger daughter at all times also, doing everything she can to make them feel welcome. Both our girls love going for food and ask constantly when we can go back. Thanks so much again Claire for making a situation that can be so difficult, so easy for us all to enjoy.”

The pizza was fresh, hot, and tasted exactly how it should. Properly cooked, good ingredients, and no issues at all. Service was quick, the staff were polite, and the order was ready on time. After feeling unwell from the previous place, finally having something safe, clean, and actually enjoyable made a huge difference. Definitely recommend Pizza Express — reliable, consistent, and worth it every time.”
