“Went here for breakfast and it was delicious. Really busy and we were lucky to get the last table and it was only a Tuesday morning. Lovely decor and friendly staff. We had the steak stack. Large portion and great value for money. Can’t wait to go back as there are so many different things to try on the menu that are quite different to some other cafes.”

“A brilliant steak place that is completely under rated. Never heard of it before so when I went and tried it, I wasn’t expecting too much. It was so good! The chateaubriand had a delicious beefy flavour. The vibes inside are still casual so you don’t feel like you need to get all dressed up like nearly every other steak spot. The bon bons were a firm fave for the starter. I didn’t think the mac & cheese, or the garlic mushrooms were worth £6 each so I would steer clear of these as sides! The sticky toffee pudding sundae was out of this world… two delicious desserts combined!”

“This was my first time in Johnstone, and coming here made a good, lasting impression for me as to what the general vibe of the area was. — The people are actually welcoming (different from what I’m used to in Glasgow), and Beth and Chris both gave excellent service. — The coffee was good and so was the bag of mini stroopwafels I got.”

“We hired the restaurant in the Houston Inn for a retirement party last Friday. The service was exceptional. Connor was on duty when we arrived and could not have been more warm and helpful. He helped us arrange decorations, deck the bunting and lettering he was so friendly and welcoming. The chef came out to greet us and chat to us about the buffet we had ordered, again, very accommodating, couldn’t have done more to ensure that our night went smoothly. The sun shone, the food was delicious, service was lovely. Well done Houston Inn for creating a really great night- not many of our guests were local but all vowed to come back after such a great night!”

“Just came in to rennies for the first time. Lovely friendly staff and never had so many muscles in the one bowl. Must been the tastiest angel delight butter scotch cheesecake I have ever tasted. Easily 5 stars!”

“Me and my partner came here for the first time for something to eat and somewhere to wait for our car to be ready to picked up from the garage. Atmosphere was great, got a soup and sandwich deal. Was lovely. Prices are good, Lee was very friendly and accommodating. Made me glad we chose this place to spend time while waiting. Highly recommend !. Will definitely be back!.”

Just 1 suggestion guys, the drinks holders, i had to stop cpl times to fix as my drinks had toppled over, maybe something a bit deeper. To anyone who hasn't been yet, highly recommended, food is so tasty. As Arnie says...I'll be back”
