“Love this place! My husband and I very often coming here for breakfast, brunch or even lunch. Any time of the day in any weather condition the "Tasty Butties" guys are always there and always serving very tasty food! If you ask "What about the size of the position?", I can tell you that the portions are big!”
“Came for my daughter’s 21st birthday. The staff were so welcoming, the food as always was amazing. Superb service all round. The manager Lauru was absolutely brilliant with us! 100% coming back for all family occasions. Thanks guys.”
“I took my partner here for his birthday meal and we both really loved it! I'm a vegetarian and I was recommended the Salmon by our host Jordan. The salmon was absolutely delicious and a really good portion size! The other vegetarian options all looked good with a suprising amount of options which I was pleasantly surprised with. My partner is very much a meat eater (which is why I chose this restaurant for him) and he had a great time! He tried all the meats and his favourite was the garlic salt sirloin steak. He also really enjoyed the honey pork and the lamb. I'm also a big fan of salad bars and we both agreed that this was the best salad bar we've had at a restaurant! Lots of really nice fresh produce that you can tell hadn't been sat there for ages. We were served by Jordan, Ilona and Pusak, all were equally friendly and attentive. It was my partners birthday as I mentioned and they also brought out a cocktail on the house with a candle in it as a suprise which we both thought was very kind. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant. It's all you can eat which can sometimes be expensive but you 100% got your moneys worth here. We'll definitely be recommending it to others and we'll be coming back next time we're in Beverley! *we didn't take any photos because we were too busy enjoying the food!!*”
“Beautiful food. What a lovely restaurant. If in the area I would advise going.”
“The most beautiful little wine bar I have ever seen. Filled with beautiful apothecary furniture, stone vases and olive trees to sit in here on a sunny day you could be anywhere in the world. It’s going to be my new favourite spot. Staff was very friendly and well educated about the wine they where serving.”
“We visited Saturday night so had the 9 course taster menu. The food was simply amazing! So good waiting for each course not knowing what would be coming next. The chef recommend a wonderful white wine to accompany our meal followed by a wonderful shiraz to finish. The two waitresses who served us were very polite and informative and are an asset to this restaurant. We all had an amazing time. Will certainly be visiting again.”
“This is a very nice little cafe in Beverley which serves breakfasts, lunches and afternoon teas etc. They used to be in the antiques centre in Butcher Row and have moved to the new premises in Dyer Lane this year. They open till late on a Friday and Saturday nights. The food is delicious and the staff are really friendly. They have a specials board with meals of the day as well as the usual menu.”
“Delicious brunch. All 5 of us loved the food, service and venue! We’ll definitely go back when next in Beverley.”
“Quality real ale off the scale actually.. not cheap but quality.. a place for getting into conversations with strangers.. not easy to find but worth the effort”
“Cute and cosy little pods. Hot tub was lovely and warm. Would definitely stay here again, the site is nice and quiet. In the middle of lots of places such as Brid, Hornsea, Skipsea so will always find a day out.”
“HU6 Walking Group have regularly booked a table at Dancing Goat because of its popularity, we have turned up just for drinks and their hasn't been a table available for us, but the staff have shuffled tables and chairs around and made us feel very welcomed and no trouble at all. So, when we have agreed to eat here, we know because we are a group of around 12 people, we had better book in advance in order for the staff to arrange a space to accommodate us. The food as always is and has been faultless, so on behalf of our group, would unreservedly recommend a visit to Dancing Goat, to sample the food, drinks and hospitality. Keep up the great work.”
“I came back after the management change pushed by the amazing experience I had previously. This place never stops conquering my heart, the food remains incredibly tasty and delicious and the coffees are outstanding. Also, the portions are generous for a great price. The service is impeccable, kind and efficient. Overall, a pleasure to spend a nice Sunday morning with the new team :)”
“Lovely place to have an independent coffee; especially good when the sun shines so that you can do a little people watching whilst sitting outside. The inside is quite small so it is often very full but there is always the option to take the continental approach and sit outside at one of the many tables. Poma is also a great place for an icecream or two - even better that they have gluten free cones.”
“Lovely little village pub. Bar staff friendly and very welcoming. they don't do food only bar snacks.”
“Great place to be. Been there 2 nights while helping on Coldplay load out. Great hosts, amazing pub!”
“Been to central 42 many times. Staff are always friendly. My wife is celiac and they have lots of gluten choices for her. The staff are usually very well informed about cross contamination. Loads of choices of delicious food. Good idea to book if its a Saturday or Sunday. But walked in and got a table lots of times aswell. Definitely recommend a visit”
“Regarding a sense of inebriated comfort in a quaint market town such as Beverley... The Monks Walk is something of a zenith. From London Thunder to boozed-up chunder, this is a pub whose walls tell every story. The staff were extraordinarily convivial, pursuing a quest to obtain... for me.... a myriad of historical beer mats. What a lovely touch. With a cup cheer, without nerves or fear, all manner of drinkers, and creative thinkers, can find sanctuary, comfort... and home right here”
“Really good food cooked to order, with a good selection of beers on tap, served by friendly, attentive staff. What more do you need? Outside seating area if al fresco floats your boat”
“Just a wonderful place to stay, friendly staff, great ambience and a comfortable place to sleep”
“Warm friendly atmosphere , with children and dogs made very welcome, excellent pub environment and the choice of drinks was very good . The food was of a high standard, well presented and served in a timely manner with all staff members making it an enjoyable visit.”
“Thai Palace left an absolutely fantastic impression on us. From the moment we stepped inside, we were warmly greeted by the attentive staff, who made us feel truly welcome. The service was exceptional—efficient, friendly, and impressively quick. We were seated and served our drinks within a minute of arriving. The set lunch menu offers incredible value, with a starter and main course priced just under £15. Our food arrived remarkably fast, served piping hot and prepared with fresh ingredients. We waited less than 10 minutes for our starter, and our main followed shortly after. The presentation was equally impressive, showcasing great attention to detail. Though we typically opt for Chinese cuisine, this experience has completely won us over. The menu is extensive, and we are already planning our next visit to explore more dishes. The restaurant itself is stunning, featuring beautiful artwork, stylish tables, and elegant panelled walls. One standout detail was the impeccable cleanliness—it's clear that the staff take great pride in maintaining the space. Without a doubt, Thai Palace has become our new favourite restaurant. Thank you for an outstanding dining experience—we’ll be back very soon!”
“Superb breakfast destination when in Beverley. The breakfasts are wholesome and extremely tasty. With the largest sausage I have ever had the pleasure of eating. Choice of large, medium and small. My wife had the small and I went for the medium (couldn't manage a large one). Our Cockerpoo had a sausage bowl free of charge. With a good strong cuppa, it was sensational. We shall call here again, the food here is worth every penny. Well done Polly's, don't change a thing.”
“What a beautiful old fashioned pub, I’ll be honest when I turned left into the bar area I almost immediately regretted that decision as I saw doom bar was one of the choices of ales…. As there is a small minority who prefer a pint of sick in a glass I opted for wainwright, now I’ve never really enjoyed this pint but it was the best out of the 3 on offer (tetleys the other) honestly the wainwright was perfection in a glass, talked to the locals about it who said it’s the best pint in Beverley, well I’ve done a few pubs here now and I can honestly say he was right. A proper pub Landlord and land lady behind the bar Wainwright 10/10 Thank you very much I’ll be back”
“Lovely little cafe serving fresh, home made food and friendly staff”
“Friendly Family run pub, serving a variety of quality drinks at relatively inexpensive prices. A proper locals local, and short distance walk from 3 other pubs in Wednesday Market (2) and Toll Gavel (1), before the main Market Square”
“5 of us came on a Thursday evening after visiting the Beverley Minster. The restaurant was very busy however, the food and service was excellent. See you again soon.”
“Been for lunch this week. As good as ever, if not even a bit better. Lovely nicely cooked food and a great atmopsphere. Even made the dog very welcome.”
“We stopped here for lunch and we thought the food, the price and the service was spot on. Delicious hot sandwiches with a tasty side. All of the light bites are meant to be half size, but the portions are very generous and suited my 12 year old perfectly. Staff were friendly and genuine. Much appreciated and would happily recommend this for a casual lunch spot.”
“Had a lovey meal with my husband. Staff friendly and very helpful. Full marks to the chef for a well presented tasty meal and not expensive. Thank you to everyone at The New Inn Leven for making us feel welcome.”
“Didn't eat here but enjoyed a fantastic cocktail in the sunshine, staff were so attentive and friendly and made sure everything was great”
