βBought a coat from here it was Β£100, I went to the box in wakefield and it was only Β£80 for the exact shame. Shouldhave shopped about first but Β£20 is a big differenceβ
βHas everything you as a shop lolβ
βPlenty of room to move around making you feel safe with this covid 19 hand sanitising stations in different areas still have selves of different reading materials along with a wide selection of craft making materials and lot's more besides well worth a visit in the prospect centre in hullβ
βHuge range of ales wines and spiritsβ
βA handy local shop thatβs usually got the stuff I need if Iβve ever forgotten or run out of anything from my big shopβ
βSmall to medium store, great staff, always helpful. Reasonable selection of food, fresh, frozen, baking, bread, cakes, dry goods, papers...β
βGreat place, staff are lovely. Staff are heroes surviving the odd local drunks and shoplifting scum. Tesco HQ do not appreciate their brave staff on the front line. They have security a few nights a year but they just play on their phones and arrogantly park their van in the only disabled bay.β
βI only use the store for Hermes collection and drop off as not local but always clean and tidy and the staff are really friendly.β
βAs a wheelchair user I found the staff very helpful but some aisles are awkwardly narrow.β
βLove this shop! Always got what I need, and the staff are really friendly and helpful. Definitely my go-to spot!β
βAmazing quality of own label food and drink. The store has great range and you can get almost all you need here. I always opt for own label at coop as it is excellent. The range of fish and vegetarian options is without compare. Good bus coverage routes 63, 103, 104, 105 and I think bus to Beverly via the villages. Well with a visit and to become a member and regular customerβ
βWell stocked shelves considering the size of the store with lots of special products reduced by using your Tesco Card. Plenty of staff on the checkouts and plenty of self-service checkouts. Very large car park out front with disabled and parent bays. It is also located close to other stores such as B&M, Home Bargains, Heron, Cooplands, farmfoods and Aldi so plenty of choice nearby also.β
βA great range of products and very friendly and helpful staff.β
βWhat a shame this store is closing. Used the store regularly. Staff are polite and helpful & stock is good. Unfortunately Sainsbury's other shops are too far away.β
βItβs handy when everything else is closedβ
βGreat place brilliant staff always friendly and helpful if we don't have what you want we will try our very best to get it for you. Good and very clean shop please support your local storeβ
βGreat customer service and the shop is filled with a lot of essential items! I come here nearly every day!β
βSunday morning 5/10/25. Nick served me at the till. There was no internet connection that day, so he shared his hotspot from own phone so I could use my vouchers and coupons. I really appreciated his help with that, he went above and beyond. Thanks Nick!β
βThe blonde/caramel hair lady with glasses working in the trolley self service tills today (28/03) at 12:50pm was friendly and helpful. Good customer service.β
βThis shop is at the heart and soul of the village. The staff are always super helpful, chatty, and always take time to chat. The post office is very busy and I post a lot but it's always handled very well. It's always friendly when you go in. Superb staff.β
βThe staff are always really polite and friendly . Just moved to the area and so far pretty happy and 5 mins walk from my home. Bit more expensive than the big ones but for bits and bobs I donβt mind as itβs easy .β
βFor me I would only trek to this store as a back up store as it is open until late, unfortunately as leaving at check out 2 hooded walking dead looking dudes had filled there bags with all sorts of meats & wines etc, one member of staff had bravely intervened on the 2nd one as the other fled, she's a credit to your company, I've been coming to shop at this store for many years & have never had an issue always polite, keep up the good work.β
βWhy is it not open and all closed off? I liked it as it was and hope it doesnβt change too much, they change all the shops these days!β
β12/2/23 We came here for my wife to collect her new prescription spectacles. We decided to get some food from The Kitchen but sadly there was little choice. We ended up with pizza, chips and soup complete with cold diet drinks. We managed to park in a disabled space near the front doors and of course I displayed my blue badge. It wasn't too busy, most customers were collecting odd items instead of a weekly shop. The weather was pleasant for a February day, no rain and a gentle breeze.β
βDespite the current Lockdown period, I have got nothing but praise for this store. In fact, I have been able to get all my shopping from there without the need to go elsewhere. The shop is fully stocked and most pleasing is the standard of service from the staff has remained at an exceptionally high level during this difficult time.β
βJust moved to the area. The guy in the shop was really great and helpful.β
