“Lovely place bit since we have been the soft play area has gone. Did not have long to wait for our food. Hard to choose as it all looked so nice. the staff were very friendly. And the small shop has a good variety of things. Also the place is wheelchair friendly and good parking.”

“This cinema offers a truly fantastic experience, featuring very comfortable seating and consistently friendly and helpful staff. They also provide an excellent selection of snacks. While it may be slightly more expensive than other cinemas in the vicinity, the quality of the experience certainly justifies the price.”

“An incredible experience here. My son and my daughter both undertook a certified climbing course and they’re both absolutely loved it. All of the instructors were top-notch and made the kids feel at ease with highly recommend it to anybody.”

“Put simply, outstanding. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Lovely atmosphere and very clean. The food was amazing, fresh, cooked perfectly and extremely tasty. My daughter had a fresh made pizza (we watched the chef make it), and it's definitely one of the best pizzas I've tasted. She loved it. The salmon and lamb dishes were outstanding. The cheese board, well, I thought it was for sharing it was that big, no, it was an individual serving. It was amazing, along with lemon gellato and Eaton mess, it finished off the meal. All in all, it is very reasonably priced for what you get. I would highly recommend coming here.”

“Beautiful home-cooked very high quality food, From teacakes and scones through to full meals, served in old-fashioned tea-room surroundings ie in their garden seating area. Truly wonderful cakes and the best Sunday lunch around. And the staff are lovely too!”

“The food is amazing. We found Magnolias by accident and now we won't go anywhere else. The service from the girls is outstanding, great atmosphere. The place is so busy everyday, but staff always find time to say Hi. Well done girls, Magnolias wouldn't run smoothly with you all.”

“Cosy, quaint little cafe. We came in the morning for some breakfast and it was absolutely spot on. They happily substituted vegetarian alternatives for us and you get free juice/coffee/tea with the breakfast. Service was also perfect.”

“Very nice food. Quite long waiting time considering we didn’t order anything too exciting but it was fairly busy. Chairs very uncomfortable but atmosphere was nice and food was great! Staff really polite and present but without hovering around which we really appreciated. Definitely will be back, trying to get a booth this time.”

“Visited on a Saturday night for a joint birthday meal for my wife and her brother. A deposit was needed in advance as it was a large table but this was taken off the bill. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious as usual. We had starters and mains and then took our own birthday cakes which the staff were more than happy to prepare and light the candles before bringing over to us. They also provided plates and knives for us to eat the cake.”

“My husband and I visited here on Sat. It's a beautiful place to unwind either for lunch or just a drink. I can't comment on the meals as we only had a coffee and a bun, which was lovely, a bit expensive but worth the ambience of the place. There are a couple of nice walks around the area also.”

“We eat regularly at The Coffee House have done for many years, sad to see its up for sale. We visited today 27.1.23 its was extremely busy with limited staff, but as always great food & service & Terri our server was just amazing considering the cafe was full & she was taking orders & serving during a very busy time. I hope if it does sell it remains a cafe & the staff jobs are safe.”

“It is super friendly and the coffee is really nice!! We moved from England last week and we came this week pretty much everyday with my daughter to try different things. It is the best coffee I had by far since we arrived!! We walked here with the dog and they are super nice to him too. They have a drive through too!! Great place if you love coffee!!!”

“Popped in here today 15/11/25 What a lovely vibe! People meeting/ greeting/ chilling, great food, Spotlessly clean! Hard working friendly staff! The breakfasts being brought out looked gorgeous, plentiful, and reasonably priced! We had a selection of drinks and toasted teacakes, scrumptious! I learnt from the Manager John that its a privately run cafe, and not council, home baked goods by a lady called Margo, they looked divine and a variety. The walls are decorated with black and photographs of this fantastic park in early yrs and HULL CITY FC signed kit. Long may this delightfull place reign...Much respect to all...What a team!”
