“Always had great food from Grand Ruby. Had King Prawn with green pepper in black bean sauce with egg fried rice and a large spring/pancake roll. The large spring/pancake roll was lovely. Contains bean sprouts, little pieces of meat and prawns. The King prawns on the main dish were perfectly cooked and very "tender." The dish itself is a real quality dish whether with King prawns or any other meat, poultry or vegetables. They also do some lovely curries, particularly the house special.”

“We came to firepit for lunch and a catch up with friends. Great venue and atmosphere for watching sport. The service was great, Hollie was our server and she was personable taking an interest in our day. We got a variety of different food, which was all delicious. I would recommend the pork dog and tacos. All round great experience.”

“The only place we go to for Pizza local, always delicious hot fresh food, never lets us down and the staff and lovely!! Home made burgers are the best too! No sloppy dog food burgers here! 100% beef! Stroganoff is belting too! I would like to suggest a loyalty scheme though as you don’t do any deals or offers. But you get for what you pay for and we will always return.”

“Absolutely outstanding. I was just passing through the area and decided to try Majestic Takeaway — and I’m so glad I did. The donner kebab was one of the best I’ve had: packed with flavour, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right. The salad was fresh and crisp, not the usual tired stuff you get at most places. And the pizza… genuinely incredible. The name fits — it was majestic. This place has definitely earned a spot on my favourites list. Highly recommend”

“Been using Ocean for the last 25 years and honestly love the place, the food is always spot on, the lady who serves has been there as long as I can remember & she’s fabulous. Their special curry, or chicken/mushroom curry is delicious, Singapore chow mein can’t be beaten, ribs yum, sweet/sour chicken Hong Kong style is soooo good! I could go on. “This is a well run pubic house with plenty of TVs to watch sport on. The staff are very friendly and the tables are always very clean. The chef needs a pat on the back as the food is always tasty and hot. A positive experience on every visit. Only thing that lets it down is the selection of draught ciders.”
