After 6 months of getting quotes from other companies and worrying about who to trust, Lawrence at Brownleys came out to measure and quote. From the first instance, he put me at ease and knew exactly what I imagined in my head. Lawrence told us they were booked up and would add us to the list which also put my mind at ease because if a firm is not busy that's a worry. We made a couple of changes here and there which Lawrence was very helpful and patient with. “If you are in the market for a new quality kitchen then don’t waste your time looking around at the various other “players” - just come here - I can guarantee you that your expectations will be exceeded! Director (and designer) Jonathan is the real deal - he really listens to you so he fully understands your requirements, he is a fabulous kitchen designer - our kitchen design evolved into a completely different layout than we had first envisioned, he has the patience of a saint as we requested various design changes and finally he is a polite, charming and all round fantastic guy. We decided on Schuller Next125 with Dekton work tops and Siemens StudioLine appliances and really, it’s our dream kitchen which we feel truly has the wow factor! We elected to go turn-key and Jonathan’s install team are all total professionals - Alan and Brett the lead kitchen installers, Rob the plumber, Mickey and his lads the plasterers (we had a full re-plaster),James the Electrician who was ably assisted by Ryan (full rewire and new consumer unit) and Daisy who laid the Amtico flooring. We honestly couldn’t be happier and we expect this Schuller kitchen to see us out!”

Whilst this was only a small job for them, they managed to fit this job in at very last minute notice and did a really good job. They worked really efficiently and assisted me with removing my old oven too. I would certainly recommend!”

“A fantastic service from an extremely kind engineer :) John responded within a couple of hours to my phone call regarding a fault with my combi-boiler that was tripping out the electricity to all the house socket outputs. He kept to precisely to the suggested appointment time and quickly diagnosed the problem. The complete solution needed an electrician, but he provided a safe interim fix that enabled us to continue to use the boiler and keep our electricity on! The charge was also extremely reasonable. Most importantly to me, as a woman requesting assistance, John was clear about the problem and solution and was not in the least patronising - not a given when getting help from an industry sector that is largely male-dominated. “Our cooker hood motor had failed and, while other repair companies weren't interested in helping us - saying we should just replace the whole hood - HAS took on the repair. The man on the phone was really helpful and his communication was excellent throughout. The engineer was always on time, professional, and proficient. The cost was very reasonable and way cheaper than the purchase and fitting of a replacement hood. Will definitely use again and recommend to others.”
