“With everything that has happened this year, so think costcutters has been a saviour for many people by weighing flour, icing sugar, baking powder, oats and even dried and fresh yeast. I might seem biased because I work on the deli selling sandwiches hot and cold and specials most days ( lasagne, corned beef hash, mac and cheese, meatball baguette) and much more . “Cannot comment on the Petrol Station as never used it, but have regularly used the shop and have found it carrying an amazing variety for a shop of its' size. Prices are perhaps a little higher than I would like but I appreciate that I am paying for the many hours they are open. Staff are helpful and the place is clean, Covid-19 rules are stuck to, a recommended shop.”

“Ordered for the first time and did an online shop. Pleasantly surprised at the range online, reasonable prices for items too and website super easy to navigate. At first was a little put off by the £7.99 delivery charge but this was my only option to purchase the items I needed so went with it... I didn't know that the food would be next day delivery which was a huge BONUS and all came perfectly packaged and delivered by the courier, was promptly refunded for the items out of stock - so the £7.99 delivery didn't seem so bad in the end for such a swift service. Highly recommend based on my first experience and will definitely order online from here again.”

“Marks & Spencer in Castleford is a great shop food&veg are always fresh some clothes I can buy there too obviously it's only a small shop so they don't have everything. Staff are welcoming & very helpful they will always order clothes for you to pick up in store. I would really miss this shop if it were to close . So everyone get behind the staff to keep the store open.”

“Lovely staff was looking for some spiced rum to have over the festive period however due to what i assume is high demand there was none available on the shelves. Thankfully a generous employee named jack helped me upon my request and retreived the rum for me with perfect manners and proffesionalism.”

“Ignore all negative comments below, people clearly only have time to complain than compliment. There’s a massive selection of food and drink available here including fresh produce, ready meals and alcohol! Great selection of American sweets and good for parcels, fresh ice cream and milkshakes! Friendly staff and prices fair considering it’s not a main stream supermarket, anyone with an inch of sense would expect to compare prices here to the likes of tesco etc.”
