“What a brilliant place this is. I was so scared about the thought of cataract surgery and to say I was anxious upon arrival is an understatement! Well I needn't have worried. I was put at ease straight away, the procedure was explained in detail every step of the way and the surgery itself was nothing like the horror I'd imagined! I have now had cataract surgery on both eyes. I had a different surgeon each time, and they were both lovely. Having this surgery has been over of the best things I've ever had done. I can see things in their true colours and I can finally ditch the rigid gas permeable contact lenses I have worn for 50 years. I can't recommend this place enough! Thank you.”

“In August 2018 my amazing 94 year old uncle fell at oulton manor care home where he has been living for 2 years..he was admitted to pinderfields hospital where they discovered a fractured hip...after spending 10 days in hospital with no physio ..he was discharged back to the care home...when I asked when physios would be visiting I was told there was a 6 week waiting list on the .nhs . by that time I realised uncle would never walk again without urgent physio..within the week Will from Tops was visiting uncle weekly and within 2 weeks he was up and walking again...with the help of a Zimmer...Will is a lovely young man and had a good rapport with uncle and they got on very well...I would recommend tops to anyone..their prompt service..kindness and compassion is second to none! !”

“I have found the counselling service to be exceptionally good, my Counsellor, Tom, has been incredibly patient, helpful and supportive throughout my many sessions with him. Although my time with your service has come to an end, I am aware that you can never be cured of depression etc, but you can improve the way you handle it, and Tom has helped me to be recognise the different ways of coping with my problems. “Not just friendly staff but staff that care. They don't give you medication they talk to you about it and show you how to administer it. As important as you are to them, your pet is even more important as it should be. They took exceedingly good care of our little coco and I can't thank them enough. Extremely well knowledgeable, they don't push products on you or give unnecessary medication. They understood not just what was wrong with our naughty cat lol also her behavior, preferences and attitude without me having to tell them. I can't say enough about how wonderful they are. “I've started to train regular at the sports complex and find it has a good range of equipment. Changing rooms are clean as are the toilets (just fix the little water leak). It's a fantastic venue for wheelchair sports basketball and rugby. The large sports hall is kept clean and I believe the rates are reasonable.”

“A small Boots pharmacy branch with a team of friendly and helpful staff. Hand sanitiser is available at the entrance and plastic screens have been installed on the tills to protect customers and the staff. I've always had a positive experience whenever I've been in to collect a prescription.”

The swimming lessons for kids are very well organised and instructors very knowledgeable and friendly.”
