“My son did a High Ropes Experience for Nicas participants at Ripley castle - he is doing his Nicas 3 at the moment and it was nice for him to practice the skills he has learnt at the climbing wall outside and with different climbers. Sophie was leading the group and she kept the kids engaged and involved despite differing levels of skill - Would definitely be interested in doing these again in the future!”

“We visited for the first time this afternoon and this is definitely the best kids play place we’ve been! My 4 year old and 2 year old loved every part and did not stop exploring and playing until the minute we left. The staff were brilliant and engaging for the kids, and very friendly and helpful. Coffee and food for the grown ups great too! We’re not local (from Newcastle and on holiday in Threshfield) but we will definitely travel just to come back!”

“Such an incredible and unique experience! We loved the caves - they are breathtaking. Lovely little caffe and a great gift shop too! The staff are great and helpful. Definitely plan in advance how you will get here - if you are relying on public transport it would be best to sort that out first before booking! Great for an array of ages although some spaces can be quite tight and you have to bend over quite a bit (I’m about 5’5) - so that is just something to keep in mind. However for all who are fit and able, I highly recommend a visit :)”

“Was hoping to leave a restaurant review but it seems to have defaulted to the accommodation (which we didn't use!) The food was freshly made and highly enjoyable. Not a fancy restaurant, but like going to a friends house who enjoys cooking!”

“The Stray is a huge area of open land in Harrogate, but at this time of year most people are visiting one particular section of it which is the avenues of blossom trees. It was very dull and overcast yesterday morning when I visited but there were lots of visitors, all trying for the perfect photos. The trees really are spectacular; the majority are well-established mature trees but there seems to be a program of planting as I spotted a couple of areas with fair young trees. I’m so pleased that I was able to see them in full bloom, even if it wasn’t ideal conditions for photos.”

“This is a lovely M&S. Lots of produce and variety. My daughter wanted to try the strawberry and cream sandwich. She said it was really good. She tried to recreate the sandwich at home without success.”

“Ordered from Deliveroo last night. I was pleasantly surprised how neat and stacked the burger was. Large fries meant large portion and didn’t disappoint either. Very rare to find a burger place which has burgers so well made that you can see each and every ingredient clearly. Will definitely be ordering again.”
