“Beautiful park, amazing trees and plants. Had a funfair in park if you have little ones. Live music and has tennis courts and mini golf. Not sure if fair and live music on all time but we went on Sunday 27th July.”

“Visited the hotel today for afternoon tea and it was simply lovely. The young man who met us at the front door was friendly and helpfully took us through to the dining area. The waitress who served us was amazing -friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. And the food was just gorgeous! 2 hours spent relaxing in a beautiful setting, drinking prosecco and eating beautiful food- a really great way to spend a Friday afternoon. Thank you.”

“Went here for tea. As you walk in, you are greeted by a friendly member of the team, and it gets better from there. All the staff are great and welcoming. Food is amazing with great choices of greek cuisine and a great atmosphere. Would be wise to book, as although not over busy when we went, i imagine it can be.”

“My local Toolstation is great. I order online so I know they have what I want in stock, and they are so quick at getting stuff ready to collect which is ideal for early starters like myself. The products are fit for purpose most of the time and fairly priced.. returns are easy and processed quickly unlike the nearby competitors who can take a week or two. The staff are happy to help and it’s nice to be greeted by your name ( thanks Sheena) and to be made welcome.”

“I received the most superb, helpful and friendly service yesterday from Sue in the garden section when buying 2 plant containers. She produced a measure so I could check the container measurements (as I had left mine at home by mistake), actively helped me select the right ones within the price range I was looking for, was very knowledgeable and even took the containers I'd chosen to the checkout for me (I have arthritis) and then loaded them in to the boot of my car. Wonderful service...and the store also had a really good selection of plant containers in stock at a sensible range of prices. A full 5-star experience, thank you.”

“This hotel is ideally located a 5 minute walk from Hornbeam Park train station, so it's easy to get a train to Harrogate centre, Knaresborough, York or Leeds. There is ample parking. The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room was clean, comfortable bed and pillows, good shower (overwhelmed bath). Good breakfast options.”

“Another great stay at The West Park. Great service, friendly staff and lovely food. The penthouse suite is a must if you fancy a romantic weekend away or just to live it up for a few days. Two en-suites, dressing room, very large bedroom and lovely living room area. The food was excellent as was the head of house team colleague Borus. I have stayed at The West Park on a few occasions now and various other hotels in Harrogate and I can honestly say this is by far the best hotel in Harrogate.”

“Stayed for 3 nights in September, and it was just fine. Pub opposite not very friendly, but good beers. Breakfast was pretty good - I don't usually eat in hotels - I prefer to go out to local outlets, but they were all very expensive, so went with the hotel. It was very good, especially the sausages. Mind you the eggs were just instant scrambled ones - not very nice. Good location, would recommend for a stay in Harrogate.”

“Fantastic 2 day stay. Hotel in beautiful grounds with plenty of parking. In a residential area within easy walk of town centre. Love an old hotel that has been modernised. Friendly helpful smartly dressed staff. Room was comfortable with all the facilities you require, including a fan. Clean and modern. We were on the back which was quiet. Breakfast had a good choice and was fresh. We had an evening meal, served in a lovely restaurant. Will definitely stay again. No complaints.”

“Based on Hornbeam Park just out of the centre of Harrogate town, the campus is spread over two blocks, plenty of parking spaces with a permit of £1 for the year! Train station, and premier inn on the estate so very handy for travel as well as many other businesses. Fantastic facilities on campus including the library in which the staffs are fantastic, not to mention equipment and materials available to ‘creative’ students are just brilliant whether its art, printing, photography or fashion you are well catered for. Faculty of Arts is second to none I am studying Ba Hons Fashion Degree and currently halfway through my second year, must say it is a fantastic course. Modules and program of study are exciting and interesting with many opportunities and educational trips. All tutors are so supportive and students ALWAYS come first, if you need help, support or resources they will ALWAYS aim to help you achieve or know of someone who can help you! One to one time with tutors and course leaders with frequent tutorials, would not get this anywhere else. They are also ALWAYS contactable if you need advice or support in person or by email. Staff cannot be faulted for their knowledge and expertise in their field having also worked in industry. I travel two hours every day but well worth it… Best choice I ever made.”
