My husband was attending a routine clinic appointment to have his leg rebandaged, but as result of their caring actions, he was admitted with a high temperature, a suspected return of cellulitis and questions over his heart rate to LGI. After several doses of intravenous antibiotics and a semi-permanent pacemaker fitted he is already feeling quite a bit better. Lyndsey waited with us for the ambulance despite being due a break. Also, I’m afraid I did not get her name but the Receptionist was very welcoming and helpful too. A very positive experience and you are a credit to your profession Ladies.”

Dr Hankin has also been amazing, not only providing excellent care but also escalating my daughter’s case when 111 had given poor advice. I really appreciate the time and attention shown. The only area that could be improved is the phone system — the waiting time can be very long, and the call-back option is currently only offered to those at positions 9–10 in the queue. It would be so much better if this was available from around position 2–3, as it’s a great option for those who can’t sit listening to hold music for a long time.”

“My apple watch detected that I was experiencing high heart rates. I felt off but not ill. On Monday, 08:00, 5/08/2024, I entered my details in Patches. At 9:30, I received a text for a telephone appointment that afternoon which resulted in n appointment with a GP,08:40, Tuesday, 06/08/2024. After consultation, I was asked to wait till a room would be available for an E.CG.and blood tests. All of these were concluded resulting another G.P consultation. Resulting in a heart condition being diagnosed, full clear explanation, medication prescribed with benefits and possible side effects explained and two further appointments made. This treatment along with lovely people conducting themselves in their jobs with professional attitudes, kindness, caring and supportive given this was a bit alarming for me. Excellent surgery and patient/ client care from start to finish. I and my family have been registered with this surgery since 1993 and have only ever experienced openness, great and effective care and always , always treated with kindness. Thank you so much for everything.”
