“The food was good, nice and hot and fresh. The portion size is generous. The staff were friendly although getting another round of drinks was difficult. The atmosphere was lovely, having the pianist playing gave a lovely old school vibe, that was just charming. I would highly recommend.”

My first time with my parents, my parents visited last week.i had prawn salad which was gluten free, my parents had soup which was minestrone, plaice very lightly battered, mushy peas and chips followed by rhubarb crumble and custard. Our drinks were a latte, tea and coffee with cold milk. Lula and another lady who served us were wonderful , cannot fault anything. My parents would like me to mention Mia and Molly along with Alison who all were delightful last week. Thank you so much, I will be back. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Great place to chill , meet, let kids play indoors and out, enjoy nature! Sit comfortably in or out, great ice cream and milk shakes ( as you'd hope at milk churn lol). The afternoon tea is great, food and value. Just good for a quick stop off even, for a nice scone and cuppa.. my little reward driving back from Seacroft hosp. My little nieces, love it too, nice environment, they always make nice new friends. Perfect to enjoy on a sunny day, and relax. Enjoy! X”

“We have eaten here on a number of occasions and we decided to go as a group again last night. As always the staff are lovely, the owner once gave us a lift home when the taxi did not arrive! This is a small family business. The food is excellent and is a fair price for the quality. Would highly recommend.”

“Second visit to L'Aquila and another great experience. Between the 4 of us, we had 3 different pasta dishes and a pizza - all really good quality and just right portion sizes. Beer and wine goid choice and decent prices. Both visits have felt like the front of house staff could do with one more at busy times as it was a little slow to take drinks then food orders, and a big gap between serving starters and mains (we like a decent gap, but this was a tad lengthy). Definitely didn't spoil the experience, so don't let it put you off - just be aware and look forward to a bit of a more relaxed pace than you might be used to. We will be back soon.”

“Another fantastic food stop over at Kofi and go. Had the special honey wrap , food was amazing, my wife asked for a salad instead of fries and was one of the best salads ever so fresh . Staff looked happy and always with a smile. Great shout out to management team who have a great establishment and will definitely be back.”

“Often get takeaway from here, really enjoy it. The taste differs ever so slightly each time so you can tell they are prepping it fresh. Never had the chance to eat in, but the guys are always friendly when I go for collection.”

“I wouldn’t normally go to a pub for food but was pleasantly surprised. Nice and quiet inside, calm atmosphere and quick service. I ordered the smoked tofu wrap with chips, on the dinner deal (meal and drink for £7). It was better than I expected! Lots of flavour, plenty of tofu, nice chips and super cheap. They have 3/4 vegan options which all sounded really good and it’s nice to have some choice”

“What an incredible hidden gem! I was super impressed with the White House, everything from the food to the setting was just perfect. The meals were absolutely delicious, with generous portion sizes (even the kids’ meals were huge!). The interior design is honestly one of the best I’ve ever seen, stylish, welcoming, and full of character. Nestled among the trees, the location feels peaceful and tucked away, making it a truly special spot. To top it all off, the manager was super nice, warm, friendly, and made us feel genuinely welcome. Can’t wait to go back! Thank you!”

The samosa chaat was perfect, the mum's special curry was exactly what I was after - some authentic home style food, and the Fal was brilliantly spicy and tasty too. “First time take away with happy chef this evening, and I was very impressed. Delivery time was exactly what they said it would be, the delivery driver was so pleasant and polite. I had the special curry, my son had chicken fried rice and curry sauce, crispy won tons, and shared chips. My curry was the best I've ever had from a Chinese takeaway, great portion and plenty of sauce. Will deffo be using happy chef in future.”

“A fantastic addition to the village of Boston Spa. A great, varied range of stock, with new lines being added constantly. Recent purchases have ranged from various items of jewellery to gym leggings, jumpers, a coat and accessories - all fabulous quality and good value for money. Isabelle is so helpful when able to visit in person but she's also adapted to the circumstances we find ourselves in and launched an online offering with click and collect. All in all, a fabulous shop to have on your doorstep.”

“With everything that has happened this year, so think costcutters has been a saviour for many people by weighing flour, icing sugar, baking powder, oats and even dried and fresh yeast. I might seem biased because I work on the deli selling sandwiches hot and cold and specials most days ( lasagne, corned beef hash, mac and cheese, meatball baguette) and much more .
