“Edited: up from 3 to 5 stars! After the first visit, we’ve been back several times (and there will be more in the future for sure) and every single time, we are impressed, satisfied and happy with the food. We diversify the dishes: noodles, BBQ meat, rice dishes. Everything is huge and tasty. ————————— Previous comment: We had dim sum as dinner there. The quality differs immensely from dish to dish. The turnip cake was fantastic, seriously! And it arrived first so we expected that the following dishes would be the same, but sadly they weren’t. I think the steamed dishes were ok, but the deep fried dumplings were too small. The worst was the rib. It took so long to arrive that we had to ask if they forgot it. When it arrived, we knew immediately that it was frozen and thawed. It smelled bad too. Don’t order this one.”
“THE BEST Chinese food I’ve ever eaten! Perfect portions , lots of small plates so great for sharing. I only took one picture of 2 plates but we ordered lots more , I was so excited to eat the food , it tasted delicious will definitely be back and I reccomend the prawn balls the most and the butterfly panko prawns in this photo! Lovely mocktail too!”
“Dinner with some old friends after a recommendation from a local and it was a great evening all round. Extensive menu and very reasonably priced we all had 2 courses for sub £30. Good portion sizes and very tasty. Service was good.”
“Good little food hall with a decent variety of options. I do miss the old layout though—it used to feel more like an actual hall. Now it feels like you’re eating in a walkway, which isn’t ideal. If you choose to sit outside the restaurant itself, people are constantly walking past, and the walkway is surprisingly narrow. Still, the food options make it worth a visit.”
“Staff were great, great value beer. Crisps are amazing. Right by a little Brook which is lovely to sit near in the sun. Would definitely go again.”
“We were greeted as soon as we entered and confirmed our name and booking, warm welcome extended and taken to our seats and advised someone would be with us shortly. On cue a lady arrived to provide us with our menus and asked if we would like to order drinks. Drinks came quickly and shortly after lady came back to see if we were ready to order or if we would like more time... We were ready!! We opted for the Trio of Roast and it did not disappoint!!! Young lady who then delivered our meals enquired if we would like any extra sauces and again returned promptly. Beautifully presented and deliciously tasty.... Staff were happy, welcoming and on the ball!! We will be back.”
“A few of us had a carvery here tonight, and the food + service was great! The selection was good, and despite nearing the end of serving time, everything was hot and tasted fresh - really well cooked veg, trimmings, and plenty of meat. Gordon did a really great job serving us tonight, and was pleasant to speak to! He was prompt in clearing our table, and helped me out with a cakeaway bag too. Consequently, we felt engaged with the service, and appreciated how responsive the staff were. Great experience all around.”
“Great fun staff, charismatic and great food!”
“Wonderful food and good staff. Nice cost warm place with good choice of food.”
“Visited early November.Excellent lamb chops, superb steak and the Bruce cake was heavenly! I went all in and ordered a large dinner. Normally I am wary of steak. It's a large price commitment in a restaurant and you don't want the risk of it being poorly handled. No fears here! The chops were perfect, the chimichurri so good I ordered more with the main. The Tomahawk was a perfect medium, and anyone who says it should be rarer you are missing the point of rendering the fat, and it was well rested. The Bruce cake was an invitation to diabetes I thought, and worth the risk. I suggest asking for a jug of pouring cream or some vanilla ice cream to help the richness. For a quiet, November Monday night there was a steady trickle of tables which is a good sign. I almost didn't stay when I went in and asked for the drinks list, it doesn't sell wine, which for me would have normally been a reason to not continue as I like a glass of Bordeaux with my beef, but the smells hooked me and I'm delighted I stayed. You will see some negative reviews, all I can say is each to their own. Go yourselves and make your own judgement, it is worth it.”

“We used Toni Scott Floral Design for our wedding in 2018, she understood exactly what we wanted and provided a seamless service from start to finish. We'd have absolutely no hesitation in recommending her.”
“The lounge of the Marriott hotel is the perfect place to meet, it’s spacious the interior design and furniture are modern and comfortable. The service was fast and the coffee good. A great place to unwind and meet.”
