“Their korma (made with grated FRESH coconut- not dessicated) is highly recommended. I've never tasted such a wonderful dish. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff who are friendly, interested in everyone & knowledgeable. This is now the ONLY Indian takeaway we go to, having tried many others ♥️♥️”
“Always absolutely stunning, delicious food, great variety on menu. Fresh and plentiful. The guys here go out of their way and tweak their curries to prepare them how you like. Very friendly, fast and reasonably priced. Been going for years at least twice a month. Best curry ever.”
“Everything food related aside - the owner whoever served me was fantastic and humbled honestly an extremely nice guy. Now onto the food… blown away. Eating in London I expected sky-rocketing prices for mediocre food but this was absolutely brilliant. The chicken biryani was absolutely fantastic I recommend”
“After watching a review online we decided to give the Wednesday banquette a go and wasn’t disappointed! The food was amazing , maybe the best curry I’ve had in a while (luhari karahi) it was fresh , the naan bread must be made to order as it was piping hot and crispy , not heavy at all ! You can bring your own alcohol but the red wine was less than £10 a bottle! Great value for money Will definitely be coming back !”
“I went to the Wirral Tandoori yesterday (29/09/25) for the first time in ages, as I no longer live in the area. The manager and staff were warm and welcoming, making me feel like I’d never been away. The food, as always, was absolutely delicious. The chicken pathia in particular was outstanding — without doubt the best I’ve ever tasted — perfectly balanced with a rich depth of flavour and a lovely lemon zing that lifted the whole dish. It reminded me exactly why the Wirral Tandoori has always been a favourite: great service, fantastic food, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes the journey back more than worthwhile.”
“Moved to the area nearly 1 year ago and being a lover of Indian food, I found it difficult to find a decent takeaway until I came across this place. The food is absolutely beautiful and the staff are very friendly. I normally opt for the Chicken Jalfrezi and I swear it gets better every time! Would not go anywhere else!!”

“Me and my partner have gone there 3 times in the best 2 weeks we just can’t get enough. They have a meal deal for 2 which is incredible value for money. We get vegetable samosas and meat samosas, chicken korma, chicken tikka masala, onion bhajis, 2 x pilau rice and a naan all for under £22. We were also given a free papadom last time we went. All the food is freshly prepared and my partner is not picky at all but I’m incredibly picky and I love it. Feels like going out for a proper expensive meal but at home and you’re actually really full after. Best Indian would definitely recommend”
“Fresh tasty lovely, well worth the wait and price .iv never had a bland or bad meal I'm never sorry I spent money and stuffed my face .”
“In my opinion this is possibly the best chip shop on the wirral. Order your food as you go in and it is cooked/warmed while you wait. There is Chinese food, kebabs, burgers and a pizzeria as well so most tastes are catered for. As testament to the food it is always busy. Good value for money as well.”
“Delivered within 30 mins in a storm. Felt terrible ordering in the storm and even worse when Uber eats wouldn’t let me add a tip!! Yummy food thanks.”
