“a good shelter from the wind, me it’s of great vibe”
“Lovely food, really pleasant staff. Felt really comfortable eating in there. Highly recommend.”
“Excellent coffee prepared by a host (Matthew) who males you feel welcome right away. Fair prices, would be my cafe of choice (if in my city).”
“My go to breakfast and coffee! Plessey’s have a Brilliant team and do the best Coffee and food around! Highly recommend.”
“First time customer and will definitely be back. Mike did a great job with a restyle. Thanks!”
“Such a good addition to the Makinson Arcade, especially for people in town for work on their lunch! Lots of veggie and vegan options, and the owners are lovely. I had a rice box and it was delicious! Even the mild salsa is quite spicy, so I would never try the very hot one haha, but there’s lots of different toppings to try and everything is very good value for money ☺️”
“Lovely food. Service was brilliant. Cakes are even better! This will be my new spot when I visit the Wirral.”
“Really lovely place. Our 2 year old enjoyed playing with the different activities, especially outside in the kitchen. A nice range of activities. Coffee and cakes were delicious.”
“Love the place. Great vibe, great service and great coffee! Price isn't bad either. Highly recommend!”
“We love going here, great atmosphere great service great pint.. dog friendly live singer some days.”
“Went in on the off chance. Enjoyed their breakfast menu at lunchtime. Friendly and welcoming to both humans and dogs! It's hidden behind the fringe of the barber and a really good find!”
“My daughter was performing at Primal Live in the Invisible Wind Factory which is next door to this cafe. We fancied some hot drinks so I called in here to get two teas and an Americano. It felt really cozy and like a proper old school Italian cafe. I have to say, the Americano I got was the nicest tasting coffee I have had in many years. This cafe is a little out of the way, but if you love great tasting coffee, it's well worth a visit and I certainly feel like making a return visit to sample that Americano again!”
“This is a truly the most amazing, authentic Italian coffee you can find. Also the pistachio croissants are an absolute must have!! I’ll be coming back for years to come.”
“We saw the video saying, "Only pay for what you like." and thought that we just had to try it. The food was perfect, the team was very friedly, and every other table seemed to be enjoying themselves. Amazing experience.”
“Went in for a couple of drinks on Saturday, it was fantastic to be fair. The service was good and the beer and wine tasty, we will be back.”
“Lovely little place to have breakfast or lunch. Sussed it out first by myself, then took hubby for his verdict. Loved the food, you can sit and chat whilst waiting for food to be freshly cooked.”
“My 'go to' cafe stop when cycling around that area. Friendly staff, lovely coffee, and great cakes.”
“Review for Tapas Evening at Caffi'r Cob. We recently enjoyed a wonderful tapas evening at Caffi'r Cob (group of four adults) and WOW we certainly didn't leave disappointed, it was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Every dish was beautifully prepared, full of flavour, and perfect for sharing. The variety on offer meant there was something for everyone, and each plate felt like a little highlight of its own. We absolutely love the day time atmosphere at Caffi'r Cob and the evening atmosphere was just as warm and relaxed, making it easy to settle in and enjoy the evening. Service was friendly, attentive, and well-timed, adding to the overall experience without ever feeling rushed. All four of us left thoroughly impressed, full, happy, and already talking about when we’ll be back. A brilliant evening all around and highly recommended!”
“Walked with my friend. Passed this place lots of times but never stopped. Decided to give it a try. Wow, so glad we did. Lovely coffee, food was delicious, freshly cooked. The young lady is so lovely, very helpful nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend, and definitely will be returning.”
“Called at Marmalade to break our journey while travelling. Lovely sandwich and cakes. Enjoyed it so much on our outward journey, that we called again on our way back. Holywell is an ideal stopping place away from the main road, with plenty of parking at the nearby supermarket.”
“Lovely place - really enjoyed the ice cream! Friendly customer service and a nice cafe to bring kids. Will come again!”
“Good food, friendly staff, good prices. Everything you need from a cafe”
“Bit confused as to why it says it's closed, I had breakfast here a couple of weeks ago. As ever the service was excellent, the food was perfectly cooked and quick to arrive and the cake I took away was just to die for. Highly recommend going here, but pay attention to the times on the menu...I very narrowly avoided missing out on a proper breakfast because I didn't check the times properly!”
“Food colourful, tasty, fresh, staff very friendly, cute & quirky place. Loved it ❤️”
“Best takeaway coffee in Liverpool by a mile and fairly priced. Mark and Jacob will always stop and have a little chat too. Everyone that lives in the Baltic knows Red Berry does the best coffee.”
