“My nervous German shepherd had her first professional pamper today at Dog Brooming. Karen was absolutely brilliant with her, and my Zelda Bear was surprisingly relaxed and confident. I had been worried about taking her to a groomer but I need not have feared, and I think she actually enjoyed herself. She went in looking like a burst cushion and trotted out looking ready to enter the ring at crufts , with a tangle free shiny coat, and smelling divine !! Would highly recommend karen and we will be coming back .”

There were 4 hand pumps on today. 3 real ales and a real cider The staff were ace The beers i had /a Hawks Head pale/was in fine fettle This pub, when drinking real ale in Ormskirk, is a must to come and have a pint in Saturday 14th November 2025 Today I again visited this superb micro/real ale bar This 1 roomed pub had 4 hand pulled ales on offer from local and small breweries Friendly well run easy going pub with great clientelle easy going background music This pub for real ales is a essential visit when in Ormskirk”

“The rice container was filled full of broken rice with only a thin layer of whole grain on top to make it seem good quality. Keema naan only had any keema in about 1/3 of the whole thing. Lids not on curry containers correctly so curry spilled out when taking containers out the bag. However, very quick and happy service. Shame about the quality which is usually very good.”

“Came here on a Saturday afternoon with the kids and it was busy so we were lucky to get a table. They’ve done a great job of renovating this place with a fresh lick of paint and beautiful artwork on the walls. The owners are on the floor serving tables alongside the waitresses which is really nice to see. Food was great and the milkshake was outstanding. We will definitely be back.”

“It is my favourite place to go and have brunch especially during weekends. They serve breakfast till 2.45 pm. It's a must visit place. Their food is amazing. I usually end up ordering their soup of the day , cheese toast with eggs, skin on fries and, iced coffee. The quantity they provide is really good. It fills you up really well. The food is delicioussssss. I've also tried their vanilla shake as well as their strawberry milkshake. They are all too good. So plz visit and show them some more love. The ambience is also great.”
