“Thank you for an accessible experience! We were visiting Southport as we do at least once a year from stockport. Our usual changing places toilets were closed (market hall). We were amazed to find one here so close to the other. A kind lady working there (didnt catch her name sorry) escorted us to the changing places on the first floor. We were a little pushed for time but now we know this is here we will be visiting properly to view the exhibitions. A stunning building too.”

“Perfect Chinese Lunch Walked on the main street in Southport and spotted this little hidden gem. Attracted by its lunch menu. Sweet n Sour Chicken is excellent as my gweilo boyfriend is an expert of S&S chicken. The coating is light and crispy, sauce perfectly hangs onto the chicken. Sourness and sweetness are at perfect balance. Beef curry the sauce is nice for chips dipping. Great value and friendly service, Will definitely be back with more friends!”

“We ate here for the first time, it was beautiful! We ate a variety of things, Steak, Scallops, Cauliflower, Chicken and multiple others. The food was delicious, service nice and all was beautiful, I would highly recommend.”

“Oh I love it here! I've been twice recently and will most definitely be going again soon! The food is amazing and the staff are too. Fabulous, friendly service! I had moussaka and it was delicious and filling, it was served with rice and chips. I also had fresh pitta bread with delicious dips and Greek salad. The wine was lovely too. The desserts looked lovely but I was too full to try one on this occasion, but my friends enjoyed theirs. Can't wait to go back! Really, really enjoyed it all.”

“My girlfriend found this place on the internet so we tried it out while we were in Southport , the place was quiet due to the fact the Champions league final was on and everyone was in the bars! As soon as we walked in we were made to feel as home by the gaffer, he couldn't do enough for us! The food was good and so was the Turkish beer, we chose different dishes from the Greek, Turkish and Spanish tapas menu and left full to the brim. The bill was a reasonable price too. We were very impressed by the interior of this restaurant and by the lovely painted Murals on the wall of different parts of the med. We had a lovely time and would recommend a visit here!”

“First time visiting here today. Really cosy atmosphere, spotlessly clean. Very friendly and welcoming member of staff. We ordered drinks and some Halloumi Fries and some Olives, Hummus and Pitta and all was very nicely presented and tasted beautiful. Will definitely be back to this little gem that's just a few steps off Lord Street.”

“Every time we visit Southport (2 or 3 times a year) we make a point of coming to Empire. The quality of the food never fluctuates. It always remains of a high grade and tastes so good every time. The duck is just amazing and the randang curries full of flavour. Treated like individuals every time, even keeping a drink for us that isn't on the menu. “We went on a Saturday night, it was extremely busy and the restaurant was quite noisy. We waited some time for our main courses but the food was faultless when it did arrive. My partner waited over 10 minutes for a second drink. We will be back but we will probably get takeaway or visit on a less busy evening next time.”

“Really enjoyed our meal. Attended with my niece, daughter and grandchildren. Staff were really friendly and took the time to ask where we were from, and interacted with the grandchildren. Food was good and delivered swiftly. Price very reasonable averaging around £20 a head. Located on main high street so cannot park straight outside, but only a five minute to the car. Well worth a visit.”
