“These lovely ladies fitted me and my mum in fir a blow dry and an up do on the morning of my sons wedding. We're not from this area so "took a chance" in a salon near our hotel. We weren't disappointed! They were so so lovely and pur hair stayed put all day. We will definitely be booking in again when we come up North to visit family. Thankyou ladies xx”

“What a fantastic pub this is. Went there yesterday with my dad, son, father in law, brother in law and his son. Lovely atmosphere and the bar manager was such a knowledgeable woman and really lovely to us. Even gave us a plate of mince pies to enjoy with our cask ale. Only £3 a pint of cask on a Monday as well. Will definitely return.”

We ordered chicken and sweetcorn soup, crab meat and sweetcorn soup, BBQ spare ribs, crab claws, spring rolls and finally a house special chowmein. some of the best food me and my mum have tasted. Although, it's very unfortunate they do not have "OK sauce" meals as it was my favourite dish at one of their competitors. But none the less, thoroughly enjoyable takeaway!!
