“My son has been in Alder Hey for nearly 3 weeks and my daughter had been missing me so I decided to take her the park and then for tea. The staff at treetops restaurant in Alder Hey are overall unfriendly and food is average so I decided to try The Wheatsheaf over the road from Alder Hey. It was brilliant the manager was super friendly and helpful, my daughter has additional needs and she was patient with her and listened to her not ignoring her in favour of the adult. I only ordered a kids meal (great price) and some onion rings, it came in good time and she enjoyed her burger, the ice cream fun was next level and she was so excited to see it she nearly tipped the table! I would much rather eat here with the friendly staff and nice food than in Alder Hey. If you're a parent head over here sometimes it's far better than Treetops!”

“I wandered in on a silent Friday night at approximately 20:28 on the 2023rd year of our lord. My thirst was unimaginable, however the bar staff used their arcane knowledge developed over decades of research to help me quench my hefty thirst. I shall be returning in the not too distant future in order to dwell on my most recent adventures with fellow travellers. Would recommend to thou friends.”
