“Went for lunch on recommendation of a friend and wasnot disappointed. Had the 3 course fixed price lunch. Lovely fresh cooked food, generous portion, great value for money. Friendly staff, though did seem to be a little short handed. Lovely environment, nice and clean, plenty of parking. Will definitely be back.”

“Visited Tim Hortons for the first time today. Coffee was gorgeous and donuts were fresh and packed full of flavour. We tried the salted caramel maple and cookie dough. Friendly staff and very clean branch.”

Price = Very reasonable Taste = Awesome Temperature = Always piping hot :) Service = Always friendly, kind, accommodating, approachable, lovely to your children when you do collection, smiling :) Consistency/keeps you going back = absolutely, very reliable, and hasn’t disappointed us once :) Star of the show for me is the Donner stir fry. Wow! Had a curry tonight for a change, and that was nice also :) Recommended Chutneys to a friend recently, and he loved it, he can’t wait to have another one :) I’ve had many many currys, donner’s, kebabs and wraps etc over the years, and these are just as good as anywhere else. Lets goooooooo :)”

“I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a meal so much. I ate three courses of which the starter and main were huge portions but I couldn't stop as they were all so delicious and ate the lot. My dessert was basically ice cream with a rich toffee sauce and digestive biscuits crumblings over it, just enough to finish my meal off and all washed down with 2 glasses of house Merlot.”

“Really impressed with this place. My girlfriend is vegan and dairy intolerant, and the staff at Yang's (a very friendly husband and wife) were so helpful and went through every single dish I had ordered, making sure they were all safe for her to eat. The lady's son has severe food intolerances so was very understanding and adapted certain dishes to suit our needs (such as no egg in the vegetable fried rice). The food was superb and the portions were perfect, and it was all very reasonably priced. There is also free parking outside, which is a bonus. Highly recommended!”

“My boyfriend and I ordered the Soft Shell Crab with Thai Curry and the Special Fried Rice. The Soft Shell Crab with Thai Curry was absolutely amazing. The curry absorbed the rich flavour of the crab meat, making it wonderfully savoury. I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves seafood and curry. We also enjoyed the fried rice, especially how the ingredients were cut into perfectly sized pieces, making each bite a pleasure. We’re already looking forward to dining in next time!”

“We booked for a large group with not a lot of notice yet the staff were brilliant. We were working in the area and wanted to celebrate a colleague so 20 of us descended on the restaurant and service was fantastic. Drinks were flowing, food came out in good time and they were constantly checking we had everything. A real gem.”

“You don’t judge an Indian takeaway on atmosphere; you judge it on food. We used to live in the area and always enjoyed the food. Now we live 150 miles away but try to time our visits to see family in order to pick up a Lowton Tandoori on the way home. The food has always been lovely, reasonably priced with good portion sizes. The staff have worked there for years and always seem to remember us.”

“We first visited this pub well over 25 years ago for a well earned date night whilst we had a 2 hour babysitter . Sat outside with a bottle of wine and watched the farmer gathering his crops with a combine harvester from the field opposite . This memory has remained with us for all these years . We actually thought the pub had been demolished until by pure fluke we drove past a couple of weeks ago and realised it was still there and thriving ! Called in again for a few drinks sat outside looking at the same farmers field but without the combine unfortunately ! We booked for dinner this evening and all I can say is WOW ! Amazing atmosphere ! Fabulous food ! Great value for money ! Had the chicken & leek pie and couldn’t finish it as I was so full ! Copious amounts of chicken in the pie and mountains of well cooked veg ! Absolutely 10 out of 10 Staff are courteous and attentive and land lord & land lady are simply beautiful & welcoming ! Will definitely be back !!”

“I arrived at the Horseshoe Inn after struggling to find a nearby lunchtime venue with an attractive variety of food on the menu. Here I found the true Lord of the Pies and am now a devotee! This first time I dined on his award winning Braised Beef masterpiece with Truffle and Parmesan mash and will definitely return to taste more and more. There’s also plentiful choice for vegetarian diners.”

“Another top burger! I'd been meaning to have the 'On your knees Texas Pete' burger again for a while after I had it whilst hungover last time. I felt I'd enjoy it a bit more when I had a bigger appetite and felt less nauseous! And my intuition was right. It went down much better and was packed with tasty meat. It could be better though... The sauces were quite sparce (particularly the chilli jam) and not spread well so were mostly in the middle. I'm also not a big fan of the pretzel bun either. It's quite tough to get your teeth into and doesn't soak in any juices or sauce either. The brisket was delicious and had nice flavour, although I couldn't say any Dr Pepper flavour was noticeable from it. Definitely one of the best places for burgers in Warrington and I'll miss it when I move up to the northeast this month. Previous visit: Incredible burgers! I've had a few of the different offering from here over a few years and never been disappointed. The 'Tony Montana' though has topped the lot. Fantastic flavours from the sauces and a good amount of chorizo. The patties they use are delicious! The fries didn't add much to the burger really but were a nice gimmick and made the stack more impressive as well as messier. I also had the BBQ wings. A huge portion with a good covering of sauce. They were beautifully crisp but a little overcooked so the chicken was quite dry. One of the best places around for a burger and plenty of mouthwatering options. Another previous visit: Delicious 'Chick Norris' breakfast dish and nice tater tots. Top place with a great menu. Fantastic burgers but don't miss out on the boneless wings! Massive portion and they're bangin!”

“Must be the best Chinese takeaway in Warrington. The food is so tasty. Would recommend crispy shredded beef in hot and sour sauce. The chips are proper chips too. The lad who serves is a star.”
