“The Best Osteopath in London! I have been coming to Dr Christoph for 2 years now and I feel like a new person each time I leave his clinic. As an endurance athlete I often suffer from injuries in various places, including dislocated SI joint, hip problems and a dislocated ribs in a thoracic spine... Dr Christoph has been able to treat every one of them, each time. He also offers acupuncture and his hands are truly magical. Always a positive attitude and a very pleasant atmosphere. “I have only visited this clinic twice to see a physiotherapist, and on two separate occasions for different reasons. I was extremely impressed on both occasions. On my first visit I was experiencing severe pains down my right leg and wondered what could be done. The physio massaged my lower spine for about 2 minutes, and amazingly, the pain went away and has not rerurned. My second visit, 12 months later, was to ask for advice about going to the gym. I was worried that if I resumed my twice-weekly trips to the gym, my leg pains would return after being pain-free for a year. This time aI saw a different physio who showed me some very helpful exercises. On both occasions the male physiotherapists were very extremely personable and clearly knew their stuff. I would certainly have no hesitation in recommending this clinic.”

Walk through reception where I’ll receive my cold beverage to aid me in my swim and during the summer sitting on the side waiting for the ice cream truck to deliver my ice cream. If I want to go enjoy a bit of a quieter environment I’d book for the Sun terrace where you can be away from the pool and enjoy a lovely sun lounge!”

It always causes a clash when one of our little ones moves between swim stages. We also have the added complication of new clubs, etc., clashing with swim lessons. “The adventure golf here is great. 12 holes all with an American theme. Spent around 25 minutes going round. Each hole has something iconic to do with America. Went here off peak so was only £12 for an adult & a child.”

“Recently booked a last minute night in London. Hostelle was not only very affordable but women's only! I saw a few mixed reviews, but honestly thought it was in my top hostel experiences! It's certainly not a new and flashy hostel, but a comfortable, well thought out and safe space for women to stay. The 14-bed dorm I stayed in was not very spacious but I had a curtain and the bunk bed was sturdy and didn't rock about. The showers and toilets were clean. Both receptionists I came across were really relaxed and friendly. As for location in London, it's a little way out. But it's very close to Bethnel Green tube station (2-min walk) and there are a couple of very cool beer and wine spots within 5-minute walking distance. Overall just feels very comfortable being around women who are there for the same reasons as you. Will defo be back! Many thanks.”

We visited many places in 3 islands, we were sailing, swimming, exploring and having lots and lots of fun. “I moved to Virgin Active Repton Park in January after spending 5 years at Nuffield Health, and the difference has been a complete revelation. Nuffield raised prices twice in a year, removed key facilities like the jacuzzi without offering any discount, and the overall atmosphere — especially with some PTs — felt disrespectful and unfair. That experience pushed me to leave. Virgin Active has been the opposite in every way. From the gated community car park where you know your car is safe, to the friendly and welcoming reception team who greet you with a smile and provide fresh towels on every visit, the hospitality here is on another level. The locker rooms are a bit outdated and could use a modern refresh, but they’re always clean. The gym floor is great, though I do wish it had a bit more space and additional machines — especially a dedicated bicep machine. The real highlight of this club is the spa area. The sauna and steam room were recently renovated and are consistently in perfect working condition. The jacuzzi is incredibly relaxing, and the swimming pool is huge. As someone who’s been bodybuilding for over 10 years, having high-quality recovery facilities makes a massive difference. The architecture of the building is beautiful — transforming an old church into a gym gives the whole place a unique, almost royal feel. Overall, Virgin Active Repton Park delivers exceptional value, atmosphere, and service. Easily one of the best fitness clubs I’ve ever been a part of.”

“My husband and I recently joined the ‘Get Active’ membership aimed at over 65 year olds. We started with a pickleball course and now play regularly in the socials.which are great fun. I also attended the magic ring class with Steph and the Yoga with Victoria J . Both are excellent instructors. There are lots of activities included in this membership, there is something for everyone.”
