“A brilliant place to get your early morning wake up juice... really really great coffee and they are very welcoming and helpful with your order too -- making sure the precious coffee is served just right. They are also very lovely to my dog and have a scruffle and a treat ready for her as soon as she's in sight. She's convinced we go there for her!”

“A really lovely pub. We like to eat inside and love the decor. Staff are super friendly and service excellent. (Server was Cello; last time we came it was Poppy- both lovely as was everyone else.) Four of us are vegetarian and chose very nice dishes (carrot soup; hummus dish; pimientos de Padrón; veggie wellington; goats cheese salad; fish and chips. We also love the soda bread.) Thank you for a very pleasant evening. (Photo from previous visit of delicious Camembert dip)”

    Coffee Break Expand LTD London

    ★★★★☆ 4.4
    Open

“Coffee Break feels like it hasn't moved forward from 2005, but in the best way possible. The decor is full of black and white photos of old movie stars (Charlie Chaplin, Marylin Monroe, James Dean, etc) and the corner television was running 90's music videos the entire time I had my breakfast. And the breakfast- It was beautiful. I ordered a Small English Breakfast and the portions were exactly what I needed. Don't worry, they also had a Full English. But the Small was a single egg, sausage, 2 bacon, a perfectly fried hashbrown, beans, and toast. For someone like me who loves English Breakfast but would like to move at some point later in the same day this was a great set. The service here was wonderful as well. My own plate came out perfectly but when a table nearby had a cheeseburger come out with less cheese than expected the reply from the waitress was simply, "of course, no worries, more cheese" and more cheese was added (as well as the requisite sauces). The Mediterranean and special fares are also worth trying out. The special is a Lentil Soup as I write and it smells wonderful. Overall a perfect spot just off the main road in Wood Green, and perfect for breakfast and lunch in a much quieter spot than trying more popular cafes down the high street.”

“Plenty of open space and wooded areas to explore, with the well appointed hub for all your other needs(cafe, toilets), and a great play park for the kiddies. Miniature railway and a small farm nearby, can't recommend enough. We went for this year's fireworks display and it didn't disappoint. Well worth a family visit.”

“Would book again. Clean rooms, very polite and helpful staff, many options to chose from for breakfast and for me who is a coffee lover I really appreciated the coffee machine they had that provided multiple types of coffee. They location is both good and bad. It's next to the train station which on the one hand is really helpful especially if you're a foreigner like us but there's a bit of noise from the trains, nothing major though, we booked a second night in the end. I'd definitely book again. Parking was limited but isn't a problem if you don't have one”

The atmosphere is perfect for settling down with your laptop, thanks to plenty of plug sockets and speedy Wi-Fi, making it an ideal spot for those important meetings or just catching up on work. The building itself, part of the Kimpton Fitzroy London, a Grade II listed Victorian marvel, adds to the charm of Burr & Co. Whether you’re craving a classic flat white, indulging in a full English breakfast, or in the mood for some delicious fries, the menu caters to every whim. And let’s not forget the cocktails – a must-try during their happy hour! The staff at Burr & Co are incredibly friendly, contributing to a relaxing and easy-going experience. The quality of food and beverages is top-notch, all available at a reasonable price point considering its prime location. It’s a place where music gently fills the background, creating a welcoming environment that’s hard to leave. In summary, Burr & Co is not just a hotel coffeehouse; it’s a delightful retreat in the bustling city of London. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, it’s a spot you won’t want to miss.”

“I've shopped at Nazar Supermarket for approx 7 years it's a good family run business. They have a really great selection of food and drink. The fresh produce is excellent quality and great value. So is the freshly baked bread bürek and simit. The staff are always friendly and helpful (I do not know why some of these reviews state otherwise.. I am always greeted with big smiles and I often enjoy standing and chatting to the staff when I've finished shopping) I try to spend as much of my grocery budget here as I can. You should too! ☺️”
